• opponent  此处作名词意为 对手；反对者；例：I've had an opponent every time. I've never had a free ride. I've had to fight.   每次我都有一个对手。我从未遇到一件一帆风顺的事。我一直都得奋斗。
  

• abandon  除了常用的 抛弃；放弃 这几个含义，还有 放任，狂热 的含义。例：There was a general air of festivity and abandon.   那里弥漫着纵情欢庆的气氛。
