《无爱可诉》

Andrey Zvyagintsev is Russia's best known director. His 2014 film Leviathan was a hit at Cannes in 2014 – many felt it was robbed of the Palme d'Or – and it went on to win wide international acclaim and a nomination for the best foreign-language picture at the Oscars. Set in Moscow in the warm summer months, the film stars Maryana Spivak and Alexei Rozin as a couple whose son goes missing while their relationship is unravelling. Zvyagintsev has set the bar for himself rather high: he has said he would like Loveless to be compared with the great Swedish director Ingmar Bergman's Scenes from a Marriage.
