三、语法：时态---过去进行时
1. 过去进行时的定义:
过去进行时主要表示过去某一时刻正在进行的动作，或表示过去某一阶段一直在进行的动作。例如：I was eating with Tom at 8:00 yesterday. 昨天八点我与汤姆正在一起吃饭。
2. 过去进行时的构成:
过去进行时由“was / were + doing”构成。例如：I was doing my homeworkthen. 那时，我在做作业。
3.句式结构：（1）肯定句：主语+was/were + doing +其他。
（2）否定句：主语+ wasn’t / weren’t +doing +其他
（3）一般疑问句： Was/were +主语+ doing +其他?

（4）特殊疑问句：特殊疑问词+ was/were +主语+ doing +其他?
4.时间标志：常用的时间状语: at that time、this morning、the whole morning、from nine to ten last evening、at seven yesterday、 when、while
例如：We were having a birthdayparty from seven to nine last night. 昨天晚上七点到九点的时候我们在举办生日聚会。

这时注意主句和从句的时态，主句是过去进行时（表示可以持续发生的动作），when从句是一般过去时（表示短暂性的动作），do是延续性动作，所以可以用过去进行时，come是短暂性动作，所以用一般过去时。
所以when标志的过去进行时句式结构为：主句用过去进行时，when从句用一般过去时 ，也可以说成：
