Dear Wang Lin,
It’s very helpful to know something about the British meals before travelling. In many English houses, people eat four meals a day. They are breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner.
Breakfast takes place at any time from 7∶00 to 9∶00 in the morning. They usually have eggs, bread with butter, cheese and so on. English people drink tea or coffee at breakfast. Lunch comes at one o’clock. It can be a hamburger or a threecourse (三道菜) meal. Afternoon tea is between 4∶00 PM and 5∶00 PM. Dinner begins at about half past seven. The first course is soup. The next is often meat or fish with vegetables. Then come fruits of different kinds: apples, pears, bananas and so on. But not all English people eat like that. Some of them have their dinner in the middle of the day. Their meals are breakfast, dinner, tea and supper. And all these meals are usually simple.

  (2)播放Lets sing 的歌曲。

  2. 预习

  (1)教师出示单词卡片,提问:How do you go to school?

  3. 新课呈现

  教师提问学生,通过提问,一步步地呈现课文内容。并在黑板上重点板书以下单词:near (由此引出单词far), usually, sometimes (由此引出单词never和often)。

第二部分教育理论与实践

  Ⅱ.论述题

  终身教育包括教育的各个方面、各个部分,是指从一个人出生的瞬间一直到生命终结的整个过程的不间断的发展;也包括在教育发展过程中各个阶段之间紧密而相互依存的内在联系。终身教育并不是单纯的传统学校教育的延伸,而是包括一切正规教育、非正规教育和非正式教育。

  终身教育发展到现在已经是世界各国广泛认可的教育思想,终身教育理论主要可以概括为几个方面:

  第一,现代社会的发展和进步需要终身教育。终身教育理论认为,教育应该是贯穿一个人一生以及人的发展各个阶段的持续不断的过程,教育活动并不随着学校教育和学习过程的结束而结束。

  第二,终身教育的内容和方法不固定。终身教育的任务是为了使人"学会学习",养成学习的习惯和获得继续学习所需要的各种技能,从而更好地应付未来社会和生活的挑战。终身教育的目的是为了适应个体在智力、情感、性别、社会、精神等方面的需要,应把教育看作一个持续的过程,根据实际情况选择个性的、灵活的教学方法。因此终身教育没有固定的、规定的教育内容和方法。

  第三,终身教育是未来教育发展的战略。终身教育模式的建立一方面能促进教育的民主化和现代化,另一方面,也有助于冲破传统学校的固化机制,在教育活动中采用多种多样的组织形式、教学内容和教学手段。
