五.Teaching procedure
Step1.Leading-in
Firstly,show students the poster.
T:what’s the features about it ? And having a discussion.

Secondly,arrange a brainstorm to review some words,phrases and sentences about
why we should learn English and write them down.
Justifications:
According to Brainstorm,which is conducive to create a relaxed study atmosphere,Ss can review some words or phrases that is related to the reasons of learning English.In addition,Ss will have a first impression with the structure of poster.
Step2. Pre-writing
(1)Generating
Ss should work in group and exchange their ideas.They are supposed to get as many ideas as possible.
(2)Planning
Ss have to work on their own to collect the ideas which they think valuable
Justifications:
Ss can have a good preparation for the coming poster.
Step3.While-writing
(1)Fast writing
Write the poster quickly for 10 to 15 minutes without worrying about grammar,words and punctuation.
(2)Group discussion
Work in groups and discuss the writing of their group members,including the advantages and disadvantages of each writing.
(3)Modification
After discussion,Ss should modify their own poster again based on the suggestion from previous discussion.
During the whole process ,teacher should pay attention to different students and give help timely as soon as needed.
Justifications:
Ss can finish their writing and their writing ability can be enhanced.
Step 4.Post-writing
(1)Share your writing
Students share their writings and choose the good ones as the model essays.
(2)Writing assessment
Students reflect their progress in this writing class by asking the following questions:
①Can you organize your ideas in a logical way?
②Have you made brainstorm map before writing?Do you think it helpful?
Students sum up the methods and matters that should be paid attention to.The Teacher should help to enhance the importance of English.Develop Ss’ ability to learn English well.
Justifications:
Ss can have a good master of a poster’s writing and learn to share information with classmates.
Step5.Homework
Write a poster about describing why we should protect our environment.
Justifications:
Give open homework to guide Ss to use the knowledge they have learned.
