这篇适合对巴西感兴趣、能用英语交流的地理人

今天的推送的缘起是我的朋友Livia。她是我在读博期间认识的巴西同行,不仅在巴西的公立小学教地理,也在巴西知名的大学圣保罗大学读博。

2020年的时候,我们也进行过一次在线的对话:

她这周给我发来了消息,说她想要做一个学生之间的互动共创项目,希望我能帮忙联系上中国的老师对接。

我请她给我发了邮件,以下是她的邮件译文:

我是Livia,一个小学地理老师,在巴西圣保罗州库巴唐的公立学校工作。我的学生现在正在学习身边的景观,社会如何影响ta们对于周边区域的认识,以及如何把自己所生活的地方和世界上别的地方进行比较。

我提议的这个项目的想法是:让世界各地小学六年级的学生(11-12岁)建立联系,分享自己生活的区域。这可以是学生之间相互分享的视频, 在哪里生活,所居住的房子是什么样的,在自己生活的地方怎么出行(例如:步行、骑自行车、公交车等等),ta们如何得到自己的食物、如何参与准备食物,ta们的学校是什么样的,ta们在地理课堂上学习什么,ta们都穿什么,怎么玩。这个视频可以是在5分钟和25分钟之间。当学生完成了这个视频,我可以在巴西也拍这样的视频,把这些视频分享给参与这个项目、也对这个项目感兴趣的同行,让ta们的学生也能看到巴西是什么样的。这样,我们就能够去比较不同的景观、日常和文化。我希望能够有尽可能多的国家参与。

我们也可以考虑安排一天进行线上的对话交流。在看过视频之后,学生可以了解彼此,互相提问。

这个项目欢迎每一个人参与,但重点在于参与者要能够用英文沟通,这对这个项目的组织、发展来说是重要的基础(也欢迎英语老师参与)。

原文:

I am Livia, an elementary school Geography teacher, working in public schools in Cubatão, SP, Brazil. My students are now learning a bit about their landscapes, how society has appropriated and has been relating to their territory in different ways and also they are comparing characteristics from the place they live to other places in the world. 

The idea of the project is basically to make year 6 of elementary school students (11-12 years old) from different parts of the world to get in touch and share their lived territories. This could be done by a video production in which students could show where they live, with a pic of of how their houses look like, how they move around their cities (if by foot, bike, bus, etc.), what people mainly work on their hometowns, what they normally eat and drink during the day, where they get their food from and how they prepare it, how their schools are, what  they are learning in Geography classes, for example, how they dress and where they have fun in the city. The video could last at least 5 and maximum of 25 minutes. When students get this done, I would send the video produced here in Brazil to the teachers interested in attending the project and they would send their video back to us so students would be able to compare different landscapes, routines and cultures from as many countries as possible.

We could also schedule a day to have a live conversation where students, after watching the video, could get to know each other and ask questions. 

Anyone is welcome to join the project, but it is important that people involved know English so that we can chat, organize and develop the project better (English teachers are also welcome to participate).
