Recently, a survey has been on to find out the reading interests of senior middle school students.
ln this survey, one thousand senior middle school students from ten schools in Hubei Province were interviewed. They were asked which they liked reading most among the four categories of English articles: news, stories, popular science articles and articles about learning methods.
The survey shows that more than half of the students like to read news most. Twenty-six percent of the students say that English stories are their favorite. Only seven percent of the students are most interested in reading articles about learning methods. However, the number of the students who enjoy reading popular science articles doubles that of those who prefer reading articles about learning methods.

十六. 启事
一大早，当我穿着崭新的校服来到学校时，学校门口已经竖起了彩虹门，建设小学百年校庆的字样一下就跃入眼帘，老师们穿着统一的衣服在忙碌着，来到教学楼后面我发现我们的操场焕然一新已经变成校庆的会场，会场上人声鼎沸，南面升着大气球，气球的下面挂着条幅，教学楼上也挂满了横幅，我们的头顶上方飘着五颜六色的彩旗，看来这都是为校庆准备的，校园里充满着节日的气氛。
上午九点半，校庆仪式准时开始了，首先是于校长讲话，她结合北京屏幕上的老照片讲述了建设小学百年的历史，让我们对自己的学校的发展过程有了一个深入的了解，知道了我们现在学习环境是多么的舒适。然后是校友代表讲话，他给我们讲述了三点：首先让我们听老师的话，然后不要畏惧考试，最后让我们多读有意义的书。随着音乐的响起，精彩的节目开始了。首先是关于书法的舞蹈以及师生大合唱，在这些节目里我最喜欢《最炫民族风》这个舞蹈，我很喜欢这首歌。上午十一点半校庆伴随着《建设小学校歌》优美的旋律中结束了。
在百年校庆鲜亮的标题下，爸爸让我们班全体师生和家长代表站在前面合影留念，在回家的路上我想了很多，我觉得我最为一名建设小学的学生是多么的自豪，我一定要好好学习，为自己的母校争光，这真是一次终身难忘的校庆!
