如何衡量一个人的智慧？除了智商、情商外，近年来又流行一个新概念：逆商（AQ）。
IQ、EQ、AQ并称3Q，成为人们获取成功必备的法宝。
智商（IQ）——Intelligence Quotient的缩写，意为智力商数，简称智商。它是测量个体智力发展水平的一种指标。
情商（EQ）——Emotional Quotient的缩写， 又称情绪智力，是近年来心理学家们提出的与智力和智商相对应的概念。它指管理自己的情绪和处理人际关系的能力。
逆商（AQ）——Adversity Quotient是我们在面对逆境时的处理能力。一个人AQ愈高，愈能以弹性面对逆境，积极乐观，接受困难的挑战，发挥创意找出解决方案，因此能不屈不挠，愈挫愈勇，而终究表现卓越。心理专家表示，继智商（IQ）、情商（EQ）后，逆商(AQ)已成为新一代职场热门词汇。
今天，我们就来学学有关这些“商”的英语：
1. Tom has got a doctorate degree. To tell the truth, he has a high IQ but a low EQ.
汤姆已经获得了博士学位。说实话，他智商很高，但是情商很低。
2. An IQ score should not be treated as the only stagnant representation of the intellectual quality of a person.
IQ分数不应该作为描述个体智力品质的唯一表述。
3. For businesses,a high-AQ workforce translates to increased capacity, productivity, and innovation, as well as higher morale.

A teacher stood before his class of twenty biology students, about to hand out the final exam.
生物老师站在全班同学的面前，准备发放期末考试的试卷。
"I want to say that it's been a pleasure teaching you this semester. I know you've all worked extremely hard and many of you are off to college after summer.
我想对大家说，这个学期能教你们生物课，我真的很开心。我知道你们学习都很认真、很努力，你们中的很多人，这个暑假之后，就要开始大学生活了。
So that no one fails, anyone who would like to opt out of the final exam today will receive a 'B' for the course. ”
所以，这次考试，不会有人不及格。你们中间决定不参加今天考试的同学，都可以获得B的成绩。
There was much rejoicing in the class as students got up, walked to the front of the class, and took the professor up on his offer.
很多学生十分欣喜，他们走到讲台，跟老师提出免除考试的申请。
As the last taker left the room, the professor looked out over the handful of remaining students and asked, "Anyone else? This is your last chance."
当所有不愿意参加考试的学生都离开了教室之后，这位老师看着教室里剩下的为数不多的同学说道：“还有人要求不参加考试吗？这是最后的机会了哦！”
One final student rose up and opted out of the final. The professor closed the door and took attendance of those still remaining.

"I'm glad to see you believe in yourselves," he said. "You all get 'A's."

3. Before the visitor embarked upon discipleship, he wanted assurance from the Master.
"Can you teach me the goal of human life"?
"I cannot".
"Or at least its meaning"?
"I cannot".
"Can you indicate to me the nature of death and of life beyond the grave"?
"I cannot".
The visitor walked away in scorn. The disciples were dismayed that their Master had been shown up in a poor light. Said the Master soothingly, "Of what is it to comprehend life's nature and life's meaning if you have never tasted it? I'd rather you ate your pudding than speculated on it".
