Introduction(介绍)

2.在很多情况中,大家使用介词错误是因为相同的动词可以根据情景搭配不同的介词。

3.今天,我们将指出一些常见的用在讲和写中出现的介词错误。

Agree to or Agree with?

Practice

1.My husband agree (to / with)go on vacation with me next month, as long as I don't bother him for the next two weeks.

我的老公同意和我下个月去度假,只要我下半个月不打扰他。

2.My wife couldn't agree (to / with ) me on whether we should sell the old car and buy a new one.

我的老婆不同意我们卖掉旧的来买一个新的车。

注意:

'agree to'接动词不定式的形式,如‘to jump’ 'to suppose' or 'to annoy'.

'agree with'接名词,通常后面接人。

Agree to or Agree with?

1.使用' agree to '意思跟' consent to '一样,同意合同条款的履行。

2.For example:

The employees agreed to continue working if they get that raise you promised.

员工同意继续工作,如果他们得到你的加薪承诺。

My boss agreed to promote me if I reach my goal within the next week.

我的老板同意我升职,如果我可以在下周达到目标。

Agree to or Agree with?

1.使用'agree with' 代表着与某观点一致。

2.For example:

I must agree with you, they are wrong.

我必须同意你,他们是错的。

I cannot agree with my mother. I think that is a bad idea.

我不能跟我妈妈达到一致,我认为那是一个坏主意。

Differ with or Differ from?

Practice

1. I differed (with / from) my neighbors on whether we should fox the wall between our yards.

2. The new BMW 5 differs (with / from) the old BMW 5 in many ways.

Differ with or Differ from?

1.使用‘differ with’ 意思是不同意(disagree with),与某个观点不一致。

2.For example:

The two teams differed with each other on several point but finally worked out an agreement.

两个小组在几个观点上不一致,但是最后做出一样的。

You can differ with me without getting touchy about it.

你可以和我的观点不一样,没有必要变得敏感。

Differ with or Differ from?

1.使用'differ from'意思是不同的,比如这条裙子和那条裙子不一样。

2.For example:

Me and my brother differ from each other in so many ways.

我和我的弟弟很多方面不像。

Coke differs from pepsi.

可口可乐跟百事可乐不一样。

注意:

Differ with = disagree

differ from = unlike or different than something else

At the Moment or In a Moment

Practice:

Mr. wilkinson will get back to you (at the / in a)moment.Please be patient.

He's not at his desk(at the / in a)moment. Would you like to leave a message?

At the Moment or In a Moment

1.我们使用'at the moment' 关于描述目前的事件,或者现在的情况,就像'now'。

2.For example:

She is busy at the moment. Can you call later?

她在忙,你可以等一会打给她吗?

At the Moment or In a Moment

1.我们使用'in a moment' 暗示事情将要很快发生。

2.For example:

I can't do it in a moment! I need more time.

我不能立刻做,我需要更多时间。

Responsible for or Respnsible to

Practice:

I'm responsible (for / to) my daughter's behavior. I should take full responsibility.

I'm responsible (for / to) my clients. I cannot disclose their personal information.

Note: However, if the sentence is constructed as: ‘I am held responsible (for / to) my clients’ privacy. I cannot disclose their personal information.

Then 'responsible for' is correct.

Responsible for or Respnsible to

1.‘responsible for’意思是有能力答复任何合理的索赔;能够答复某组织的债务。

2.For example

We don't know who should be held responsible for this accident.

我们不知道谁应该对这次事故负责。

Responsible for or Respnsible to

1.意思是陷入责任,就陷入个人关心的个人责任而言。照顾某人的某事利益,尤其是财政方面。

2.For example:

All personnel in management are responsible to their shareholders.

管理部门的全体人员需要对他们的股东负责。

Angry with or Angry about?

Practice:

Don't talk to me. I'm still angry (with / about) you.

A lot of people are angry (with / about) the new nuclear plant being built in this area.

Angry with or Angry about?

1.我们使用' angry with' 当你对某人生气的时候。

2.For example:

I'm very angry with you. Why didn't you answer my phone calls?

我对你很生气,为什么不接我的电话?

I'm really angry with my wife right now. She doesn't appreciate me.

我现在真的对我老婆很生气,她从不感激我。

Angry with or Angry about?

1.我们使用'angry about' 当你对某事生气的时候。

2.For example:

Everybody is angry about the salary cut last month.

每个人对上月降薪生气。

Look at, Look for, or Look after?

Practice:

Why are you looking (at / for / after) me like that?

I'm looking (at / for / after) a new car. Do you have any suggestions?

Please look (at / for / after) my plants for me while I'm away.

Look at, Look for, or Look after?

'look at'当你正在观察或者望着某事。

What are you looking at? It's rude.

你正在看什?那是不礼貌的。

Look at, Look for, or Look after?

'look for'当你正试着寻找某物。

I'm looking for my keys.

我正在找我的钥匙。

Look at, Look for, or Look after?

'look after'当你正在试着保持某事安全或者保护某事。

Can you look after my dogs?

你可以照顾我的狗狗们吗?
