Mr Bird is happy. “I love my nest. In all the world, my nest is best,” he sings. But Mrs Bird says: “It’s not the best nest. I’m tired of this old place. Let’s look for a new place right now!”
鸟先生很高兴。“我爱我的巢。在这个世界上，我的巢是最好的，”他唱道。但是鸟夫人说:“这不是最好的巢。我厌倦了这个老地方。我们现在就去找个新地方吧!”
So they leave and look for a new one. “This place looks nice,” says Mr Bird. But somebody else lives there.
所以他们离开去寻找一个新的。“这个地方看起来不错，”鸟先生说。但是有人住在那里。
So they look at another house. “This one looks nice,” says Mr Bird. “And there’s nobody in it.” “You’re wrong,” says Mrs Bird. “This house belongs to a foot!”
所以他们又看了另一栋房子。鸟先生说:“这个看起来不错。”“里面一个人也没有。“你错了，”鸟夫人说。“这房子是属于一只脚的!”
So they go on looking. “I always wanted a house with a flag,” says Mrs Bird. “Maybe this place will be all right.” But it was not all right!
所以他们又继续寻找。鸟太太说:“我一直想要一栋有国旗的房子。”“也许这个地方会好起来的。“但这并不好!
“I’m going to pick the next house. And here it is – right here!” says Mrs Bird. They fly in. They look around. “I like this big place,” says Mrs Bird. They start to build their new nest. They get some hay, some sweater string, some soda straws and some human hair. They bring them back to build their nest. They work hard. They finally build a new nest.
“我要选下一栋房子。就在这儿——就在这儿!鸟夫人说。他们飞翔着。他们环顾四周。“我喜欢这个大地方，”鸟夫人说。他们开始建造他们的新巢。他们得到了一些干草,线,一些石吸管和人类的头发。它们把它们带回来筑巢。他们努力工作。最后他们终于建了一个新巢。
