UNIT（深圳单元建筑设计顾问有限公司）从事建筑、城市及其相关领域的设计与研究实践。UNIT致力于通过多元化、创新设计来拓展建筑学领域，面对日益增长的当代城市生存环境新条件、新挑战，我们开拓了一系列创新的解决方案。建造形式不是设计的最终结果，我们的目标是创造一种可不断进化的状态，一种与其生成条件相互关联的、物理的、以及形而上的建造环境。批判性的思维方法和多元化的视角，使设计超越物理形态本身，拓展了建造环境的想象空间。我们所有的努力是要创造一个更加美好、充满诗意的未来都市。

UNIT由建筑师杨沫阳先生创建于2008年。自成立以来，公司设计了大量标志性建筑。近期在建或即将建成的项目有：深圳A8音乐集团总部大厦——建筑本身成为一个作曲的装置；位于南中国的世界鞋业总部基地——映射制鞋工业的建筑群。

A8音乐集团是中国领先的互联网音乐公司，我们的目标是创造一个与音乐有本质关联的建筑。建筑的体量生成基于音乐最基本的音符阅读原理，将建筑切分成8个等质的体量，然后让音乐声波作用于这些被切分的体量，形成建筑的表面机理。

很多作家如：莫扎特、亚历山大·斯柯拉宾等人对颜色和音乐有通感现象，他们经常用不同的颜色来谱曲。UNIT创始人杨沫阳解释说：“根据这种通感现象，建筑表面的彩色LED灯条根据A8音乐集团的门户网站a8.com的实时访问流量作出变化。因此，建筑本身成为了一个用颜色作曲的装置，它的创作由世界各地的网站访问者共同参与，并且这个创作的过程永远不会停止，它是一个动态的过程，它以音乐的方式，揭示了一个看不见的互联网世界。从这个意义上说，我们创造了一个永远不会停止的、全世界最为疯狂的作曲家。”

UNIT (Urban New Idea Team) is a Shenzhen based practice engaging in the fields of architecture, urbanism, and research. UNIT aims to expand the boundaries of architectural profession by privileging multidisciplinary interventions. Our work opens to a wider range of creative solutions to face the increasingly challenging contemporary urban condition. We do not regard the built form as the finality of our work , we'd rather create an evolving set of conditions, in which the building enrich its context and highlight under regarded physical and metaphysical aspects of the built and to-be-built environment. Our considerations for a better understanding of the phenomenon of urbanization and our willingness to implement poetic discourse and a critical approach orient our creation towards a better future.

Founded in 2008 by Moyang Yang, the office has been involved in a large number of groundbreaking projects. Currently, projects under construction designed by UNIT include the A8 Music Group Headquarters in Shenzhen -a skyscraper reinvented as an analogy to musical composing interface; the World Footwear Industry Base in Southern China- a group of building recalling the process of shoe-making industry.

A8 Music group is a leading and innovative Chinese music download company. UNIT founder, Moyang Yang, explain that the approach for this project was to create a tower who embodies its function; there by promoting the dynamism of music as well as the hosted user. To begin, the prismatic volume is split according to the scheme of musical reading. Shaped of like a serie of sound waves, the coloured LED lighted facade is organized according to the Scriabin keyboard, a system of where music tones are associated to a color, developed by the synaesthetic Russian composer Alexander Scriabian. This synaesthetic facade that responds to music download data traffic via the company website, A8.com, and becomes itself a composer by creating an ever fluctuating crazy light composition. The visual symphony is enhance by the dancing reflections of the city on the deconstructed facade. The building becomes a city-scale device, visually revealing the invisible world of internet traffic.
