在美国，越来越多的人选择中医治疗

中医的传承，已经有数千年之久。中医文化博大精深，是中华文明的瑰宝。

如今，中医不仅在亚洲得到广泛应用，在欧美等地也越发受到青睐。

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has been passed down for thousands of years. With an extensive and profound culture, TCM is the treasure of Chinese civilization. It is not only widely used in Asia, but also has become increasingly popular in Europe and the United States.

格里夫在接受《中国日报》的视频采访时说：“美国现在有超过6万名针灸师。中医在过去15年里发展迅猛。中医在美国的医疗系统中扮演着重要的角色，在许多西医难以提供良好疗效或治疗方案的情况下，中医作为一种安全、无创的治疗方法，能够解决很多问题。”

“There are more than 60,000 acupuncturists in the United States right now. Chinese medicine has grown dramatically in the last 15 years. It is taking on a larger role in our medical system here as a safe and noninvasive method of treatment for a lot of problems that Western medicine has difficulty providing good outcomes or treatment options for,” Griffo said in a video interview with China Daily.

美国人接触针灸已经有数十年了。格里夫称针灸已经在白人、非华裔人群中广泛普及，它在加州很受欢迎。

Americans have been receptive to acupuncture for decades. Griffo said that acupuncture has been widely accepted in the Caucasian, non-Chinese population and is popular in California.

来自中国浙江的中医医师吴亦樵在美国行医已经有28年了。在此之前，他在中国行医也有15年，对中医有着很深的了解。

Wu Yiqiao, from Zhejiang, China, has been practicing TCM in the United States for 28 years. Before that, he practiced in China for 15 years. He has a deep understanding of TCM.

吴亦樵在采访中表示：“中医、针灸等中医治疗方法对病人有很多益处，特别是不适合西医治疗的，或者有后遗症、需要手术处理的，通过中医中药、针灸的方式可以减轻病人的痛苦，或者免除手术的情况。”

“TCM, acupuncture and other TCM treatment methods are of great benefit to patients, especially those with some problems in Western medicine, or sequelae, or need surgery,” Wu said. “TCM and acupuncture can relieve a patient's pain or eliminate the need for surgery.”

接受中医治疗的肖恩·唐纳修本来有关节炎的困扰，他称中医减少了他的疼痛感，炎症缓解了。唐纳修说，如果使用常规西医，他就需要做手术，但通过中医，可能就不用做手术了。

Shawn O'Donoghue, who uses TCM to treat arthritis, says it has reduced his pain and alleviated his inflammation. Donoghue said that with conventional Western medicine, he would need surgery, but with TCM, he may not need it.

Serge Raoul, a French American who received TCM treatment, said it not only cured his headache but also helped him after a stroke. “It’s worth it, definitely. It puts you in a state of calm and serenity. So it’s great treatment,” he said.
