Have you ever dreamed of being Julia Roberts, th at renowned American actress? I have. If I were Julia Roberts, my hair would always be perfect, my dress would fit my just right, and my eyes would always shine before the cameras as they caught me from different angles. To be honest, I used to dream about becoming a world-famous celebrity. I pictured their lives to be full of adventures and excitement, never boring or ordinary. They have fame, wealth and maybe power, above all, they are successful.

“Success”, this is a magic word, but what exactly is success? Is it the first dewy rose on a fresh summer morning? Is it the tears on the face of a sports champion when he stands on the award platform? Or is it a failure at the first sight, which turns out to be a blessing in disguise as it spurs you up from the place you fall, and pushes you on towards your dreams. The definition of success can be grand and great, but also small and simple. And to me, success is not only to achieve what I want, but also to share those achievements with people close to me in life.

It doesn’t matter because soon there is only laughter in the kitchen.

So, in my eyes, success may not necessarily be related with spotlights or camera flashes. Instead, when I look around, it is almost everywhere in my life. I see it in my friend’s first try to write a poem. I see it in a brilliant recipe my mom created and practiced on the eve of the New Year. And I even see it in my grandmother. She is 83 years old and has always been scared by high technology. But when she learned that email is the best way for her to communicate with her children overseas, she walked bravely into an internet café and said to the assistant, “Hey, tell me how to use this damned thing, PLEASE.”

Now, if you ask me, “Do you still want to be Julia Roberts?” My answer is：“Well, yes, I still do, because if I were Julia Roberts, my hair would always be perfect, my dress would fit my just right, and my eyes would always shine before the cameras. But, I will not want all these things unless I can keep those strong relationships in my life that bring me peace and a sense of being loved.”

Big houses, beautiful clothes, and expensive perfumes…they are all very nice and comfortable. But I know, someday, I can lose the riches, but something, something I call “success”, will remain.
