现收藏于故宫博物院的龙泉青瓷，多数为元明清宫廷递藏，除大量的宋代龙泉青瓷精品外，更有元明时期龙泉窑场专门为皇家烧造的宫廷用器。这些瓷器从出窑到进贡入皇宫，不仅秘不示人，而且再也没回过家乡——龙泉。在故宫博物院和龙泉市委、市政府的大力支持下，故宫博物院推出“出宫+回家——故宫博物院藏龙泉青瓷精品省亲之旅展”，使深藏在紫禁城里的龙泉青瓷得以回家省亲，使龙泉人民在家门口一睹宫廷所用龙泉青瓷的真容，相信定会受到龙泉人民的欢迎。
展览分为“龙泉再辉煌”、“宫廷有佳器”、“故乡在龙泉”三个单元，展出北宋至清代龙泉窑青瓷102件套。力求全面反映龙泉窑青瓷一千多年延绵不断的发展史和皇家所用龙泉青瓷的风范。
龙泉青瓷历经千年辉煌，到明代成化、弘治朝以后其势渐微，至清代、民国时期虽有小量生产，但已不复当年辉煌，龙泉青瓷逐渐被世人淡忘。陈万里先生( 1892-1969年)生前曾数次赴龙泉实地调查窑址，除了采集大量龙泉青瓷标本外，还通过科学研究让世人得知龙泉曾是中国古代最著名的青瓷产地。后来的研究成果更是揭示了12至15世纪长达300年的时间里，龙泉一直都是“海上丝绸之路”的主要产品供应地。

故乡在龙泉
龙泉青瓷早在宋、元时期就形成规模庞大的瓷窑体系，龙泉境内有大窑、金村、溪口、小白岸、大白岸、道太、安福口、安仁口窑等。周边除丽水市辖9个县(市)区都设窑烧造外，温州市的泰顺、文成、永嘉，金华市的武义，以及福建省的浦城、松溪等，也都曾设窑烧造青瓷。从这些窑址大量的遗物堆积看，基本都属于同一系统。文献中有处州为皇家烧造瓷器的记载，产品来自琉华山下。考古调查和发掘证实，宋、元、明代烧造龙泉青瓷的窑场多达数百处，沿瓯江分布在龙泉、庆元、云和县等境内，产品供应国内外。其中以龙泉市境内金村、大窑、溪口瓦窑洋、小梅瓦窑路等处烧造的龙泉青瓷质量最好，皇家用瓷主要来自这几处窑场。

碗呈敦式，直口，圆唇，弧腹，圈足。除外底一圈刮釉外，通体施青釉。釉下划花。外壁口沿饰卷草纹，腹部饰牡丹纹;内壁近口沿处饰回纹，腹部和内底均饰牡丹。此器应为御窑器，其造型、纹饰与景德镇御窑遗址出土同时期敦式碗相似，证明洪武朝龙泉窑与景德镇御器厂同时为宫廷烧造瓷器。同类器物在浙江龙泉大窑村枫洞岩窑址也有出土，这为辨明器物的产地提供了依据。"
