其他常用介词
一、with用法
1、表示与某人或某物在一块
Don’t worry. I have my books with me .别担心。我把书带在身上呢。
Henry is at home with his wife. 亨利和他妻子在家里。
Jason leaves the books in the car with his cell phone. 杰森把书和手机落在汽车里了。
My mother will be with me soon. 我妈很快就会和我在一块了。
2、表示与某人等一起做某事
I went to the square with him. 我和他一起去广场。
Ann works with her brother at the mall. 安妮和他弟弟一起在商场工作。
May I speak with your manager? 我能和你的经理谈谈吗?
3、表示外表具有某种特征，或拥有某物等
He is the student with blue eyes and blond hair. 他就是有蓝色眼睛和金色头发的学生。
Emma married a man with a lot of money. 艾玛嫁给了一个很有钱的男人。
Andy is a football player with a lot of skill and experience. 安迪是个技能和经验丰富的足球运动员。
4、表示使用某种具体的东西作为工具
He opened a can with a knife. 他用一把刀开罐头。
He broke the door with a stone. 他用石头砸破门。
The old man walks with a stick. 老人拄着拐杖走路。
二、by用法
1、用于被动语态的动词之后，表示行为者
The cake was made by Miss Bronte. 这个蛋糕是勃朗特小姐做的。
The mouse was killed by the cat. 老鼠被猫杀死了。
The book was published by his company. 他的公司出版了这本书。
2、表示通过某种交通工具
I go to school by bus. 我搭公车上学。
He goes to work by car. 他开车去上班。
You can go home by train. 你可以搭火车回家。
3、表示通过某种方式\手段
You can turn on the light by pressing the button. 你可以通过按这个按钮开灯。
You can gain her trust by telling the truth. 你说实话就可以获得她的信任。
He may contact me by sending me a message. 他可以通过发信息与我联系。
三、besides用法
1、表示”除了….之外，还有…” ，包括在内
I want to learn French besides English. 除了英语，我还想学法语。(想学英语和法语)
He loves cakes besides bread. 除了面包，他还喜欢蛋糕。
The food is healthy besides being delicious. 这食物除了健康，还美味。
Who will be here besides Tom? 除了汤姆，还有谁会来?
The suit is ready except for a few buttons. 套装做好了，只是几个纽扣未缝上。
The district is peaceful except for a few quarrels. 这个区挺平静的，只是有时会有吵架。
The restaurant is nice except for the owner. 这餐馆不错，只是老板不怎么样。
介词的搭配
一、形容词或作形容词用的过去分词与介词搭配
Jason is afraid of height. 杰森怕高。
I am fully aware of the current situation. 我完全明白当前处境。
He is confident about this. 他对这个有信心。
She is fond of painting. 她喜欢画画。
The subway is capable of high speed. 地铁能够高速行驶。
Gwen is good at math. 格温擅长数学。
I am tired of complaining. 我厌倦了抱怨。
He is scared of asking Mary out. 他不敢约玛丽。
I am getting used to the weather in Beijing. 我渐渐适应北京的天气。
I am prepared for the English exam. 我为英语考试做好了准备。
The child was terrified of going to school alone. 这小孩害怕独自去上学。
二、动词与介词搭配
The policeman frightened the thief away. 警察把小偷吓走了。
The man accused the woman of murder. 这位男士控告那位女士谋杀。
I want to apologize for being late. 我为迟到感到抱歉。
You can’t blame me for what has happened. 你不能把所发生的事归咎于我。
She is not sure about going out. It depends on the weather. 她不确定是否出去，这取决于天气。
三、介词后紧接的动词须为动名词
He left without saying goodbye. 他没有告别就走了。
I need time to think before making the decision. 我在做决定之前需要时间思考。
He insisted on paying for the meal. 他坚持要付饭钱。
Wendy dreamed of going abroad. 温迪梦见出国。
I will persist in trying. 我会坚持尝试。
然而，except和but作为介词时，后接动词不定式
I have no choice except/but to accept. 除了接受，我别无选择。
He is capable of anything except/but to cook. 他什么都会，除了烹饪。
What is left for me except/but to leave? 我除了离开，还能怎样?
He wanted nothing except/but to be with you. 他什么都不要，只想和你在一起。
若前半句出现了动词do，则except/but后接动词原形 (不带to的动词不定式)
You do nothing except/but complain.除了抱怨，你什么都不做。
He could do nothing except/but accept. 除了接受，他什么都做不了。
Andrew did nothing except/but sleep.除了睡觉，安德鲁什么都不做。
I will do nothing except/but wait. 除了等待，我会什么都不做。
四、介词与名词搭配
He is at home. 他在家。
Amy went to school on foot. 艾米步行去上学。
