The following simple exercise routine works as well as prescription medication(药物治疗)----without the side effects
A jog a day could keep your headaches at bay: Regular cardio workouts(有氧锻炼) may prevent migraines(偏头痛), a growing body of research suggests.
Migraine patients had fewer headaches after doing 40-minute cycling workouts three times a week for three months, according to a Swedish study.
The exercise routine worked just as well as one of the top migraine----preventing drugs— topamirate but without the side effects of depression and tremors(刺激).
Cardio workouts can help with regular headaches, too, says Alexander Mauskop, M.D., director of the New York Headache Center in Manhattan.
There are a couple of theories on how it works.
Breaking a sweat may relieve stress, says Dr. Mauskop. Headaches are often triggered by stress, and if you remove the trigger, you release the pain.
The feel-good chemicals produced when you exercise actually block your pain sensors, acting as a natural painkiller.
Since headaches can be caused by many different factors like genetics(遗传), lack of sleep, or certain foods, cardio won’t be the solution for everyone, Dr. Mauskop says. But one German study found that it helped 65 percent of patients—which makes it as effective as the best medicines on the market.
Dr. Mauskop recommends his patients do a half-hour reasonable intensity (强度)cardio, like jogging, biking, or swimming three times a week. These workouts are meant to be slow and steady, as opposed to high-intensity intervals that alternate between all-out runs and rest.
Pushing yourself too much or increasing the intensity too quickly can trigger headaches in some people, so make sure your heart rate doesn’t jump above 150 BPM. If you don’t have a heart rate monitor, then breathe only through your nose. You’ll know you’re going too hard if you can’t keep up that breathing pattern.
Your migraines could start disappearing in a couple of weeks, Dr. Mauskop says.

One in three Americans get news through Facebook, according to a study from the Pew Research Center.
'People go to Facebook mainly to share personal moments - and they discover 'the news almost incidentally,' Amy Mitchell, director of journalism research at Pew, said in a statement.
The survey is the first part of a series of studies that the Pew Research Center, together with the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation is conducting to examine social media and news consumption.
The study said that about two-thirds of all U.S. adults use Facebook, the world's largest social media site which displays a platform wh8ere people and publishers can share news. Only 4 percent of Facebook news consumers said the platform is the most important way they obtain their news.
Social media is playing an increasingly important role in how people find news. The trend is growing especially among young people who prefer to get news through platforms like Twitter or Facebook rather than through traditional forms of print or broadcast television.
In an earlier study, Pew found that 34 percent of people aged 18-24 get news through social media compared with 10 percent of adults between the ages of 50 and 64.
The current Pew study found that adults aged 18-29 account for a third of Facebook news consumers.
Facebook Twitter and LinkedIn are all experimenting with ways to aggregate and share news as a way to keep people coming back to their platforms. On Monday, Facebook said that traffic to publishers' sites increased by 170 percent through the past year.
Facebook users are not discriminating when it comes to the source of news - 70 percent click on news stories because of interest in the topic. Only 20 percent said they read a story based on the news organization.

Best bike-sharing cities in the world
When Citi Bike rolled onto the streets of New York this Memorial Day, it was treated as a national event and even international media took notice. In advance of the launch, one blog post on Le Monde’s website claimed, “Bike share to conquer America.”
The next major development was in Copenhagen, which introduced a coin-operated system in 1995 called B klen, or “City Bike.” For 17 years, these bikes zipped through the streets of Denmark’s capital until the program was shut down late last year—it’s getting an upgrade to third generation technology.
Sponsored by media giant Clear Channel, the French city of Rennes brought the next generation of bike share to the world in 1998 by replacing coin operation with card access and electronic booths. From there the technology has progressed, picking up GPS and real-time tracking along the way, and has spread throughout Western Europe—and the world.
According to the Bike Sharing World Map, maintained by DeMaio and Russell Meddin of Bike Share Philadelphia, there are 553 bike share programs in operation worldwide and another 193 in planning or under construction.
And they’re not just in Europe and North America. The worldwide leader in bike sharing, as measured by the number of bikes, is China. According to data collected by the Earth Policy Institute, 20 of the 25 largest bike share programs are Chinese. Its largest one, in the city of Wuhan, has twice the number of bikes as all of France’s shares combined.
Although most of the systems share several characteristics—bikes with low theft value, electronic docking stations, ranked payment scales—different cities are trying different ways to make bike sharing work.
Take a look at Hangzhou, China, this city of 6.2 million near Shanghai, and you’ll see what just may be the best bike share in the world. Although now second on the planet (and China) by size, the Hangzhou Public Bicycle system is one of the densest shares, and probably the most extensively used one, anywhere, largely because of its mixing into public transport: a single card grants access to subway, bus, ferry, taxi and bike share. Residents and tourists alike can put down a deposit of 200 Chinese Yuan (about $33) and ride for an hour for free in this scenic city on the Yangtze Delta. Each additional hour is the equal of only $0.15—one reason why riders put in a quarter-million rides a day. By 2020 it’s projected to have 175,000 bikes.

A. by putting coins into the system

C. by showing ID card to the booths

73. Which of the following countries has the most bikes?
A. America.  B. Denmark.  C. France.  D. China.
