薛新志自幼喜欢书法，启蒙老师王志杰师从王书广老师，陈茂才老师，郭少斌老师，指导学习书法，获中国书协软笔书法七级书法证书现为中国民间书画研究会会员，红旗飘飘书画院河北分院理事，中共海内外名人名企交流协会会员，兰亭书法协会会员，河北省文化名人联谊会会员，石家庄市老年书画研究会会员，河北省采风学会会员
Xue Xinzhi loved calligraphy since childhood. His first teacher, Wang Zhijie, studied calligraphy under the guidance of Mr. Wang Shuguang, Mr. Chen maocai and Mr. Guo Shaobin, and obtained the level 7 calligraphy certificate of soft brush calligraphy of China Calligraphy Association.
