心态最终决定你所处的高度

It is often said that you cannot change the environment, but can change yourselves; you cannot change the facts, but can change attitudes; you cannot change the past, but can change the present; you cannot control other people, but can be masters of yourselves; you cannot do everything well, but can be conscientious in everything; you cannot govern the weather, but can change your mood; you cannot choose your appearance, but can show your smile.

人们常说，你改变不了环境，但可以改变自己；你改变不了事实，但可以改变态度；你改变不了过去，但可以改变现在；你不能掌控他人，但可以掌握自己；你不能样样顺利，但可以事事尽心；你不能左右天气，但可以改变心情；你不能选择容貌，但可以展现笑容。

Indeed, the key to success lies in his (her) mind. The difference between winners and the losers is: winners ascribe setbacks and difficulties to the lack of personal ability and experience, emphasizing intrinsic factors and they are willing to continuously improve and develop towards the right direction; but losers will blame on the injustice of opportunity and environment, and their emphasizing external and uncontrollable factors makes the position of their life and they always complain, wait and give up!

的确，一个人成功的关键还在于他或她的心态。成功人士与失败者的区别是：成功者将挫折、困难归因于个人能力的欠缺、经验的不足，强调内在因素，他们愿意不断朝好的方向改进和发展；而失败者则怪罪于机遇、环境的不公，强调外在、不可控制的因素造就了他们的人生处境，总是抱怨、等待、放弃！

In many cases, it is just the humble person himself who looks down upon himself. Prior conditions like appearance, family, and so on cannot be changed, but at least the inner state, the spirit of the will is entirely under one’s own control. Mentality contributes to the height of one’s life. There are no absolute bad things, only people with absolute poor mentality. If they cannot adjust mentality, how can they deal with things that are more complicated than it?

很多时候，是出身卑微的人自己看低了自己。人的相貌、家境等先天条件是无法改变的，但至少，内心状态、精神意志完全是由自己掌控的。心态最终决定人生的高度。世上没有绝对不好的事情，只有心态绝对不好的人。如果连心态都不会调整，他们又怎么处理比心态更为复杂的事情呢？

Attitude is extremely important no matter what one does. There are great differences between working passionately and sluggishly. Emerson said, 'The whole world will give way to the person who is always pursuing his goal.' On the contrary, failure is not because of our lacking in strength, but because we are easy to be affected by all around us, accustomed to going along with others, lacking our own ideas and prone to be disappointed.

一个人无论做什么事情，态度都非常重要。激情地投入工作与麻木呆滞地工作完全不同。爱默生说：“一个朝着自己目标一直前进的人，整个世界都会为他让路。”反之，失败不是因为我们不具备实力，而是因为我们易被环境左右、惯于附和、缺乏主见、心态不稳定、容易沮丧。

As long as we believe in the power of mind, adjust our attitude and have strong courage to face the difficulties in life, then we will live a better life. Do not despair, keep on going!

只要我们相信心态的力量、调整好心态、勇敢地去面对生活上的一些不如意，就会生活得更美好。不要气馁，勇敢地走下去！
