首先我们先来看一个图：
我们先解释一下什么是零冠词。零冠词就是不使用冠词，即在名词前没有不定冠词a/an和定冠词the,也没有其他限定词的情况。
1. 用于复数名词前表示泛指
Women always have the last word.
2. 用于语言、学科、三餐、球类、棋类等的名词前
English is widely spoken all over the world.
Physics is important in all the subjects.
Breakfast is the first meal in a day.
Football is the most popular game in the world.
Can you play international chess?
3. 用在职位、头衔以及国名、地名和其他专用名字前
President Trump, Dr. Smith, China, Tibet
4. 用在介词by加交通工具结构中
by bus/ train/ plane/ boat
5. 用在某些固定搭配里面
husband and wife, young and old, in pencil, at work, in time, on time
1、用在单数可数名词前，泛指一类人或事物
A whale is the largest animal in the world.
2、第一次提到某人某物
There is a man waiting for you at the gate of the school.
3、表示速度或频率，意思是“每一”
We have three meals a day.
4、用在固定搭配里面
once in a while, for a while, once upon a time, as a whole, tell a lie
不定冠词的用法当然不只有这4种，今天我们只挑出了这4种常用的。
· 还有一点要补充的是a和an的区别， a 用在辅音音素开头的词前，an 用在元音音素开头的词前。有很多同学会直接记成a用在辅音字母前，an用在元音字母前，这种说法是错误的。比如：a union, a university, a one-eye dog,这几个词开头都是元音字母但是就不能用an ,因为它们的发音是辅音开头的，union 音标是/ˈjuːniən/ ,开头是辅音音素/j/, one 音标是/wʌn/，开头是辅音音素/w/,所以即使它们开头是元音字母但还是用a。还有一些以辅音字母开头的词前会用an ,比如an hour, hour 第一个字母h是辅音字母但是它的音标/ˈaʊə(r)/ 是元音开头，所以要用an。
这点大家一定要弄清楚，a和an 是根据音素来区分的，并不是字母。
1、特指某人或某物
This is the house which I lived in ten years ago.
2、用于第二次提到的人或物前
There is a boy on the playground. The boy is Tom.
3、用于自然界中独一无二的事物的名词前
The earth goes around the sun.
4、用于可数名词单数前表示一类人或事物（这种用法和不定冠词的第一种用法一样）
The panda comes from China.
5、用在乐器名词前
My sister enjoys playing the piano.
6、用在姓氏的复数名词前，表示全家人或者夫妇两个
The Browns are going to visit China next week.
7、用在形容词或分词前，表示一类人或事物
The old will be replaced by the new.
8、用在地理名词前，表示江、海洋、山脉、群岛、海峡、海湾
The Pacific is the largest ocean on earth.
9、用在序数词或形容词最高级前
Chinese is the most difficult language to learn.
10、用在某些固定搭配里面
all over the world, in the past, in the end, at the same time
1.根据需要填上不定冠词或定冠词：
I have just moved to ___a____ house in ____/____Bridge Street. Yesterday ____a____ beggar knocked at my door. He asked me for ____a__ meal and ____a___ glass of beer. In return for this, ___the__ beggar stood on his head and sang ____/____ songs. I gave him ____a___ meal. He ate ____the____ food and drank ___the___ beer. Then he put ___a____ piece of cheese in his pocket and went away. Later ____a__ neighbor told me about him. Everybody knows him. His name is _____/___Percy Buttons. 2.中考链接：
（1）（2019，天津，21）I am going to have ______ picnic on _____Sunday.

（解析：首先在星期前不用冠词，排除A、B, 因为picnic 是辅音音素开头的，所以用a ，选C。）
（2）（2019，重庆，21）One of his daughters became ______ English teacher last August.
A. a B.an C. the D./
（解析：句意是他的一个女儿在上个八月份成为了一名英语老师，因为English 是元音音素开头，所以用an ,选B。）
（3）（2019，河南，21）--Judy, how was _____ camping?
--The other campers were nice, and we had ____ fun time together.
A. a ; a B. a; the C. the ; the D. the ; a
（解析：第一个空是表示特指他们都知道的那个露营，用the, 第二个空have a…time 是固定搭配，故选D。）
（4）（2019，广东，31）____Great Wall is one of the seven wonders around the world.
A. The B. A C. An D./
（解析：长城是独一无二的，在这类词前用the.）
（5）（2019，吉林，26）There is ____ map of China on the wall in my bedroom.
A. a B. an C. the
（解析：句意是：在我卧室的墙上有一张中国地图，因为map 是辅音音素开头用a ,选A。要注意单独的一个字母m前面用不定冠词时要用an, 因为m 的发音是/em/，开头的/e/是元音音素。）
（6）（2019，海南，27）Chinese learning is popular with people all over ____ world.
A. a B. / C. the
（解析：all over the world 是固定搭配，选C。）
