.How nice to hear from you again. You wantto know what is going on in schools in China.In short, things have begun toimprove since schools were called on to reduce learning load.I don't know aboutothers,but I used to have to work even at weekends, doing endless homework andattending classes as well.Now I have more free time. I can follow my owninterests such as reading books,Visiting museums and taking computer lessons. Inthe evening I can watch news on tv or read newspapers. What's more, I can go tobed earlier. As far as I know, everyone is happy about this new arrangement ofthings.

1999.           介绍校园建设变化，

Dear Smith.

I was so pleased to hear from you and amwriting to tell you something about my school.You are right. Quite a fewchanges have taken place. One side of the road there is a new classroombuilding. On the other side ,where the playground used to be now Stands anothernew building, our library.In it there are all kinds of books, newspapers andmagazines. The playground is now in front of the school. We have also planted alot of trees in and around the school. I hope you come and see for yourselfsome day

1998.参观农场日记，

May3    Sunday  Fine.

Today we visited a farm. Early in themorning we met at the school gate and went there together. The farm workersgive us a warm welcome. Then the head of the farm showed us around .How glad wewill to see the crops and vegetables growing well. At noon. we had a picniclunch in the sunshine.After a short rest, we had great fun singing and dancing,telling jokes or stories. Two of us even played a game of chess. The timepassed quickly. Before we know it, we had to say goodbye to the workers.

1997.一段亲身经历，

The other day my brother and I went to thecinema by bicycle. My brother was riding with me sitting on the seat behind.Aswe came to the crossroads, a young man and a girl came up and stopped us:”We’vefound you at long last.” They said. But we didn't know them. Pointing to apoliceman not far away, the young man explained” He stopped us about half anhour ago and made us catch the next offender(违章者)，. So come on. Stand here. Hope you don't have to wait as long as wedid. Good luck.

My name is li hua.I was born in dalian，liaoning province in February1977. I started school in 1984. When I was seven, I studied in guangmingPrimary school from 1984 to 1990. After that, I went to NO.six middle school ofdalian and graduated this summer. The main subjects I studied at schoolincluded chinese math, English physics, chemistry and computer. I like Englishand computer best and I am very good at them. Last year, I won first prize inthe school computer competition. In my spare time I enjoy listening to popularmusic and collecting stamps. My favorite sports are swimming in summer andskating in winter.
