Religion is basically having an opinion and shoving it down everyone else’s throats

Being religious apparently gives people the right to discriminate people with different sexualities, people with different opinions, etc

Religions have been partly, if not fully responsible for the suffering of others in war

Look, as an agnostic person, I can respect someone’s reasons for choosing/choosing not to believe in God, Jesus Christ, etc. Everyone will have a different opinion. For example, some people (including myself) likes watching Rick and Morty, some people don’t, some people like Star Wars, and some people don’t. So what?

It would probably be about the same. Us humans are pretty tribal by nature and tribes have good and bad things. Good: community & sense of belonging. Bad: feeling of superiority or alienation vs other tribes. Worse: inter-tribal conflict because if my tribe is superior and your tribe is superior, one or more of us is lying.
（没有了宗教，）照我说这世界得该是什么样还是什么样。人以群分，抱团选边站是我们人类的天性，分群有好处有坏处。好处：社区和归属感。坏处：对其他群体的优越感、排斥疏远。更糟的情况：群落冲突，要么你优越，要么我优越，我们中一定有个人在撒谎。
If there were no tribes based on religion, there would still be tribes based on geography (nations), political philosophy or other interests, so religion is not to blame for the creation of mutually hostile tribes.
