According to Amazon China, in the first eight months in 2016, Belarusian writer Svetlana Alexievich, the winner last year, has been the most popular writer among the Nobel literature laureates in the 21st century, with her nonfiction Secondhand Time topping the list, followed by the 2014 Chinese edition of her Voices from Chernobyl and Canadian writer Alice Munro’s Open Secrets.

亚马逊中国的数据显示，2016年前八个月中，去年诺贝尔文学奖获得者白俄罗斯作家阿列克谢耶维奇是最受欢迎的新世纪诺贝尔得主。她的非虚构文学作品《二手时间》最畅销。紧随其后的是她2014年中文版《来自切尔诺贝利的声音》以及加拿大作家爱丽丝·门罗的《公开的秘密》。

Mo Yan is also very popular, with 10 of his novels on the list, including Big Breasts and Wide Hips, Frog, The Republic of Wine, Red Sorghum and Sandalwood Death.

In recent years, top literature awards have boosted sales of books, and Nobel Prize in Literature is the most influential one.

近年来，各大文学奖对图书销售有很明显的推动作用，诺贝尔文学奖的影响则最为显著。

In 2015, the sales of works by Svetlana Alexievich grew by 74 times in the month after she won the prize. In 2014, sales of Patrick Modiano's works soared by 240 times in the month following the announcement, and the even bigger jump for Alice Munro in 2013 was nearly 1,500 times in a month.

2015年诺贝尔文学奖得主阿列克谢耶维奇作品在亚马逊中国的销量获奖后一个月比获奖前一个月增长了近74倍；2014年诺贝尔文学奖得主帕特里克·莫迪亚诺，其作品销量在奖项公布后的一个月内呈现240倍的增长；而2013年诺贝尔文学奖得主艾丽丝·门罗作品的销售表现更为突出，她的作品在获奖后一个月销量比获奖前一个月增长了近1500倍。

The same increase also occurred for Hao Jingfang. After she won the Hugo Award in August, sales of her short-story collection In Deep Loneliness grew by a factor of 181 in one month. The sales of her works in general increased more than 100 times compared with the previous month.
