童话里的故事都美的不得了，不过，有些故事的本来面目可不是那么清新哦。

Snow White
《白雪公主》大家最熟悉不过了。广为人知的版本内容是：
然而，真实版本各种辣眼睛：
In the original 1812 Grimm version of this tale, the evil Queen is Snow White’s actual mother, not her stepmother. Snow White is actually not in a deep sleep when the prince finds her — she’s dead, and he’s carting off her dead body to play with when his servant trips, jostles the coffin, and dislodges the poison apple from SW’s throat. When the queen shows up at Snow White’s wedding, she’s forced to step into iron shoes that had been cooking in the fire, and then dances until she falls down dead.
在1812年的格林版本中，邪恶的皇后并不是继母，而是白雪公主的亲妈！（有一种伦理剧的既视感）事实上，当王子发现她时，白雪公并不是陷入昏迷，而是死了，王子挟持了她的尸体，准备带回去玩（重口味），途中棺材颠簸，毒苹果从公主的喉咙里倒了出来。当皇后出现在白雪公主的婚礼上时，她被迫穿上用火烤过的铁鞋，并一直跳舞到死。
Cinderella
根据迪士尼的电影版本，《灰姑娘》的大致剧情是：
备受后母及后母俩女儿虐待的灰姑娘，在魔法师的帮助下参加皇宫举办的舞会，邂逅了英俊帅气的王子，双方都一见钟情，然而，在12点钟敲响、魔法消失之前，灰姑娘不得不匆匆离开，却不小心掉了一只舞鞋。深情的王子拿着这只舞鞋在全国范围内寻找，最后只有灰姑娘合脚。从此俩人过上幸福的生活。
In the Grimm story, the stepsisters cut off parts of their feet in order to fit into the glass slippers, and they have their eyes pecked out by doves in the wedding of Cinderella and the prince.
在格林版本的故事中，为了穿上那只舞鞋，继姐妹削足适履，在灰姑娘和王子的婚礼上，她们的眼睛还被鸽子给啄了出来。
Rapunzel
《长发公主》中，Rapunzel那一头秀丽的长发真是让人羡慕。
然而，这个和原著差距是真大……
'Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair.' Well, in the Grimm version, she does, a little too often, to a prince, and winds up pregnant, innocently remarking to her jailer witch that her clothes feel too tight. The witch chops off Rapunzel’s hair and magically transports her far away, where she lives as a beggar with no money, no home, and after a few months, two hungry mouths to feed. As for the prince, the witch lures him up and then pushes him from the window. Some thorn bushes poke out his eyes. He spends months roaming the prairies and woods of the realm, blind, until he hears Rapunzel’s voice from afar.
“Rapunzel, Rapunzel, 请放下你的头发。”在格林版本，Rapunzel似乎给一位王子放下头发的次数有点多，最后怀孕了，然后一副无辜的样子告诉看管她的巫师，衣服有点儿紧。巫师剪了她的头发并用巫术把她扔到遥远的地方。在那儿，Rapunzel没钱，居无定所，过着乞丐的生活，几个月后，多了两个嗷嗷待哺的婴儿。至于王子，那位巫师把王子骗上了塔后把他推出窗外。他的眼睛被灌木戳瞎。失明的他在草原丛林中流浪了好几个月，直到最后从远方听到了Rapunzel的歌声。
Little Red Riding Hood
剧情简单纯洁无害？然而，事实是：
In Charles Perrault’s version, included in his 1697 collection Stories or Fairy Tales from Past Times: Tales of Mother Goose, there is no intrepid huntsman. Little Red simply strips naked, gets in bed, and then dies, eaten up by the big bad wolf, with no miraculous relief. In those days, a girl who lost her virginity was said to “have seen the wolf”
根据夏尔·佩罗1697年出版的故事集《古时的故事及童话：鹅妈妈的故事》这一故事集中，根本就没有勇敢的猎人。小红帽被剥光衣服，躺在床上，然后被大灰狼吃了，中间可没有让人安慰的神奇反转。当时，失去贞洁的女子被人们称为“见过大灰狼”。
Sleeping Beauty
大家所熟知的，包括迪士尼电影版本的《睡美人》，就是一个简单纯洁美好的故事。
一位美丽的公主在纺织的时候不小心指头擦破流血，然后就昏迷不醒，睡了100多年，容貌依旧，最后王子一个深深的吻，公主醒了，俩人从此过上了幸福美好的生活。
然而，最初的版本也是充满了各种人性的黑暗和扭曲。
In one of the very earliest versions of this classic story, published in 1634 by Giambattista Basile as Sun, Moon, and Talia, the princess does not prick her finger on a spindle, but rather gets a sliver of flax stuck under her fingernail. She falls down, apparently dead. Her sad father lays her body on a bed in one of his estates. Later, a king out hunting in the woods finds her, and since he can’t wake her up, sleeps her while she’s unconscious, then heads home to his own country.
这个经典故事的最早版本之一——吉亚姆巴地斯达·巴西耳1634年出版的《太阳、月亮和塔利亚》一书中，公主并不是被纺锤扎到手，而是指甲里卡了一小片亚麻。她倒地死去。她那伤心的父亲把她的尸体放在自己的一栋房子里的床上。后来，一位出外打猎的国王在丛林里发现了她，由于不能唤醒她，便在公主没有意识的情况下睡了她，然后国王就回到自己的国家。
Some time after that, still unconscious, she gives birth to two children, and one of them accidentally sucks the splinter out of her finger, so she wakes up. The king is already married, but he burns his wife alive so he and the princess can be together. Don’t worry, the wife tries to kill and eat the babies first, so it’s all morally sound.
一段时间过后，公主还是没有意识，不过她生下了俩孩子，其中一个小孩偶然间吸出了公主指甲中的碎片，于是公主醒了。而那位国王已结婚，但是为了和公主在一起，他活活烧死了自己的妻子。不过别担心，他妻子开始是想要杀害并吃掉两个小孩子的，所以在道德层面上还是说的过去的。
The Frog Prince
《青蛙王子》的故事大家也是再熟悉不过了：
很美满是不是？然而原版中，青蛙王子和公主根本就是冤家……
The Brothers Grimm, as they do, managed to make that seemingly sweet and simple tale into something far more twisted. In their version of the very old story, a spoiled princess meets the Frog Prince after dropping a gold ball into a pond. Instead of bestowing on him a gentle kiss, however, the princess throws the frog against a wall in disgust until he changes form. Talk about animal abuse! In other versions, she beats him, and even burns him in hopes of getting rid of the dark magic he holds over her.
格林兄弟确实设法了将这个看起来甜蜜简单的童话变得更加曲折。在这个故事的早期版本中，备受宠溺的公主有一次把金球掉到池塘了，就此遇见了青蛙王子。她并没有送给他一个轻轻的吻，而是厌恶地将青蛙朝墙扔去，直到他最终变成人形——这讲的根本就是虐待动物嘛！在其他版本中，公主还打青蛙王子，为了摆脱青蛙王子施在她身上的黑暗魔法甚至把他烧了。
以后再看这些童话，都不知道怎么面对那些“从此以后过上幸福生活”的美满故事了……
