We are seeking an English translator who can help bring Chinese novels into English for an international readership. The ideal candidate will be able to work full-time in Hangzhou and english over 8000 Chinese characters on a daily basis. If you happen to be a novel lover, do hit me up for a chat (in English only).

LINGUISTIC EXPERTISE
Ideal - Native, native-like or near-native English skills.
Qualified - Chinese translators with a pretty decent level of fluency in English (Chinglish is definitely a no-go here).
ATTENTION TO DETAIL
- Consistency with previously translated materials.
- Compliance with established glossaries to avoid discrepancies in translating specific terms.
- Tendency to check, double-check, or even triple-check to ensure that every detail is correct.
ABILITY TO ACCEPT/GIVE CRITICISM
- Accept and even encourage criticism in the interest of improvement.
- Initiate and even re-initiate constructive criticism, specific feedback, specific recommendations on how to improve, etc.
TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS
