Video: Pig rescued from manhole in China

 Rescuers have managed to save a pig after it fell into a deep manhole in China.

In the footage, captured during the rescue in Guangxi Province late last month, several firefighters can be seen pulling the pig to safety using a rope attached to its trotters.

According to local news reports, the 100kg pig fell into the drain after jumping off the back of a livestock transporter.
