《公元1644》这部记录片里面赋予了历史人物很多细致入微的心理刻画和人性描写，特别是饰演崇祯皇帝的那个演员到位地表现了崇祯绝望、癫狂，敏感、阴郁到极点的状态。就像影片里说的“一个人的人生悲剧其实就是他的性格悲剧”自朱元璋1368年称帝，大明王朝颤颤巍巍走了276年，落到崇祯手上其实早就气数已尽，气数就是这个王朝最后的归宿。
作为帝王他要承受更多的目光和责任，承担皇家传统的祖训和家制,保护他的子民安宁和繁荣；作为丈夫和父亲，他要面临亡国灭种的后果和屠杀。而一个缺爱的童年直接造成他成年继位后和大臣间猜忌不和谐的君臣关系，最后这种关系成为了亡国的诱因之一。他艰难地支撑着一个风雨飘摇的王朝直到帝国告急、最后亲手斩杀妃嫔和子女以免落入流寇兽爪，自己也在煤山自尽。
历史的车轮从来不会因为某位帝王的自尽而停滞不前,北京的明王朝主干灭亡之后，以南京为中心的南明政权又苟延残喘数十年最终全部覆灭，汉人留起了长辫，满清学起了汉化。满汉交融的华夏文明继续繁荣和颠簸直到西方文明用武力和外交入侵进来。
这部纪录片拍得很好，一改程式化的生硬，配乐也很动听，从而达到催泪的效果并让我们有了一种历史感的审视和对汉文化兴衰浮沉何去何从的思考。

1644 A.D. this documentary offers detailed pychological describtion and humanity depiction to famous historical persons, especially the actor who plays as Emperor Sizong's reign - the reign went by the name Chongzhen， he shows the emperor’s hopless、demented、sensitive and gloomy when facing the dying destiny of Ming Dynasty. Just as the documentary says”A person’s life tragedy is actually his character tradgedy.”The Ming Dynasty has been crippling all the way for 276 years since its establishment in 1368 by Hongwu Emperor-Chu Yuan-chang. Dynasty is like people who have its fortune destiny, and Ming has reaches its last breath when crown passed on to Chongzhen.
As an emperor, he has to bear more expectations and responsbilities than common people, he must fullfil royal traditional values and regulations and ensure safety and prosperity of his people. As a husband and father, he has the duty to protect his wives and children from harm of riots. And a childhood which lacks enough mother love and attention raised his sensitive and doutful and solemn personality which directly results in his unharmonious relationship with his ministers when he comes to the throne and later leads to destroy of a country. He does unbelieveable things which seems humanistic and abnormal that is kills his all wives and kids when capital is being attacked and he commits suicide on Meishan Mountain, Bejing.
The wheel of history won’t stop its marching pace because of any king’s suicide, Ming is defeated totally in later decades, The Han people starts to keep a pigtail and royal Qing Court begins to learn the Han culture. Manchu conquers the ethnic Han and keeps booming and bumping all the way until western civilization comprehensively invads China in 19th century by force and by diplomacy.
This doumentary is presented by CCTV-9 , it is an amazing and wonderful documentary which strikes your heart and wets your eyes by its elaborate shooting skills and overall grasp ability. It reminds us of the delicate historical events and inspires us to reflect on how the Han culture gets its renaissance in a new era.
