They Do

    When i was a little girl,my parents were always busy working and seldom had time to take care of me.Every time they left me alone,i felt very scared,thinking they would abandon me.

I remember a time when my parents,again,had to send me away for some time.

On that day,they told me to visit my grandma and bought me a lovely toy .Too innocent to sense the “parting”, i put on my favorite dress delightedly. When we arrived ,.however,it turned out to be a lie.Told to stay there alone,i suddenly cried out and threw the toy away,thinking they were going to abandon me again.I begged them.I tried to run away,but my grandma held me in her arms,took me into her house and urged my parents to go.At that moment,i desperately struggled;i was going mad;i bit my dearest grandma,and shouted“Let me go!Let me go!You old woman!They are leaving!Let me go ,please...”

    Each time,like that ,it’s cruel for me to watch them going away.

    I didn’t stop crying until they went far away.Then i asked my grandma,with a low voice and a broken heart,“Granny, will they come back?”

    ‘Oh,poor girl,’my grandma comforted,“Of course they will,.They love you more than any body do. ”and she kindly kissed me on the face.

Seeing tears in her eyes,however,i pulled her away,and rushed into the bedroom with

”They don’t!”

    As the night screen fell down , I slipped out .I ran and ran,ran and ran,and finally i found myself in a strange road.I didn’t know where my parents were,nor could i find the way home.I wandered around helplessly,crying,“Daddy,mommy,where are you?Don’t leave me alone,please.Don’t leave me alone...”

    On receiving the call from my grandma,both of my parents froze.When they eventually found me crying in the road, it broke their heart.

As time went by,i grew up.I came to understand my parents that they worked hard for me and no longer was i afraid of being alone.Instead,I worked hard in school;I learned to do housework;I swept the floor,washed the clothes and cooked dinner for them.

Now I’m studying in SISU,which is far away from my home.Nonetheless,no matter where i am,I know they do love me more than any body do.
