  A long time ago, in a rich and beautiful country, there lived anunhappy king. He slept badly and didn’t feel like eating. His face was alwayspale（苍白的）as chalk(粉笔). Heoften cried for no reason. This made the queen and his people very worried.

  One day a doctor was called in to the palaceto examine the king. But he found nothing wrong with his body. It’s all in hismind. Neither medicine nor rest can help him. What he needs is a shirt of ahappy person to wear. That will make him happy.

  The prime minister was called to the palace,but when they explained the king’s situation(情况) to him,he said: "Although I have great power, but it does not make me happy Ialways worry about losing my power. Many people are trying to take my position.
