胡伟丨Wei Hu
1982年中央美术学院毕业，留校任教。1987年公派赴日，进行中日美术比较与古代绘画保存修复研究，1991年获东京艺术大学美术硕士学位。1996年获东京艺术大学美术博士学位。1997年回母校中央美术学院工作，破格晋升教授，建立并主持“材料与表现工作室”。2010年调任中国美术馆副馆长。先后主持国家大剧院艺术工程项目，北京奥运会开闭幕式艺术概念设计项目。享受国务院特殊津贴。
艺术成就：
1985年，国际青年美展，作品《李大钊、瞿秋白、萧红》获金质奖；1995年，联合国教科文组织总部（巴黎）举办“胡伟展”；独立创作完成财政部、文化部联合实施的“国家重大历史题材美术创作工程”——《陈独秀与新青年》；独立创作完成中国文联、财政部、文化部联合实施的“中华文明历史题材美术创作工程”——《张居正改革》。
Wei Hu graduated in 1982 from the Central Academy of Fine Arts and stayed on as a teacher.Later on, Hu was assigned to Japan in 1987 to conduct research on the comparison of Chinese and Japanese art, as well as the preservation and restoration of ancient paintings. He then received a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in fine arts from the Tokyo University of the Arts in 1991 and 1996. In the following year, Hu returned to his alma mater, the Central Academy of Fine Arts, where he was promoted to professor and became the founder as well as the director of the Material and Expression Studio. In 2010, Hu was promoted to deputy director of the National Art Museum of China. He took charge of the art project for the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing and the art concept design for the Beijing Olympic Games' opening and closing ceremonies. He is now eligible for the Special government allowances of the State Council.
Artistic achievements：
1985 The work Li Dazhao, Cui Qiubai, and Xiao Hong by Hu was awarded a gold medal at International Youth Annual Art Exhibition, China
1995 Hu Wei Solo exhibition, U.N.E.S.C.O. Headquarters (Maison de l’UNESCO), Paris France.
Hu independently created and completed 'National Creative Works of Great Historical Themes of Fine Arts' jointly implemented by the Chinese Ministry of Finance and the Chinese Ministry of Culture - Chen Duxiu and La Jeunesse. He also individually completed and created 'Chinese Civilization Creative Works of Great Historical Themes of Fine Arts,' jointly implemented by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Chinese Ministry of Finance and the Chinese Ministry of Culture. -Zhang Junzhen Reformation.
