玻石钢?铁路复合轨枕外观与木枕相似，施工安装容易，热膨胀系数与导热率低、抗震、抗压、抗拉、抗弯强度大，使用寿命长；具有防水、防火、防虫、防腐、无毒、无辐射、零甲醛、绿色环保、可回收再利用特性，可保持良好的电绝缘性能，在长期恶劣气候条件下也保持稳定。其现场加工性能大大优于混凝土，重量轻，可制成任意长度，不需为每种长度另制模具。其生态性能也是一大优点，制造时不使用溶剂，使用后可以循环利用。钉孔修补后，可再次使用。使用寿命长、施工费用低、维修费用低、节省大量的人力物力和财力，使产品周期成本及总成本降低。它可用普通木工工具进行锯、刨、钉、上螺丝和胶粘等加工。
