海外流失 | 《大都会博物馆藏中国佛教道教造像》

大都会艺术博物馆是世界著名博物馆，该馆位于美国纽约第五大道的82号大街，与著名的美国自然历史博物馆和纽约海登天文馆遥遥相对。

美国自然博物馆主要回顾了大自然的其他动物的历史以及满足了人类探索未知世界也就是外太空的好奇心，而大都会博物馆则回顾了人类自身的文明史的发展。该馆共收藏有300万件展品。是世界上首屈一指的大型博物馆 。

大都会艺术博物馆中，亚洲馆里展出的中国文物有不少是稀世珍宝，尤其是佛教艺术珍品，更是大都会的镇馆之宝。
