NANNING, May 12 -- Six people went missing after a tricycle fell into a river in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Monday morning, local authorities said.
The accident happened around 9:24 a.m. when a tricycle carrying 14 people fell into a river in a village in Lianghe Township of Quanzhou County. Eight people including the driver were rescued, while the other six remain missing, according to the publicity department of the county.
The rescue effort is under way and the cause of the accident is under investigation.
