November 21 (puernews.com) – In accordance with the unified arrangement of the Pu'erMunicipal Coffee Office and the requirements of the 4C certification, based on the basicconditions of and the mode of management in use in the county's coffee development, ledby Jingdong Cooperative Coffee Company, Jingdong County has tightened its agronomicmeasures and controlled the use of banned pesticides and harmful chemical fertilizers incoffee production.
It was found upon a field inspection by Nescafe's Simao Agronomic Department that the900 mu of coffee planted by Jingdong Cooperative Coffee Company complies with the 4CCode of Conduct. The company passed the 4C certification in November 2014 and signedan agreement with Nescafe on selling 110 tons of coffee beans.
