长大后我就成了你丨一个小学生对全世界小伙伴说的话

新冠肺炎疫情让我们的生活发生了巨大的变化，虽然害怕，也会回忆从前快乐的正常生活。各行各业太多的英雄逆行者为了保护我们奋战在一线，总有一天，会轮到我们长大，我们也会成为某个领域的专家。

小学生刘佳萱从青少年的角度思考，她认为我们不仅要做到保护好自己，对自己对他人负责，还可以利用这段时间充实自己。同时她看到疫情面前，身边亲戚、朋友，作为医护人员、志愿者冲到前线，内心深感敬佩，作为青少年的我们不仅要像英雄致敬，感恩他们的守护，更重要的学习和传承他们不惧困难乐于奉献的精神！

这种精神也时刻督促和号召新一代的青少年去承担责任，所以青少年朋友们更应该利用这段时间好好充实自己，让自己不断提高变得更优秀，让我们未来的国家越来越好。

I look out at my apartment window and see empty streets where once people walked and frolicked. I used to be able to hear the sounds of children, like us, playing, running, feet splashing, because they just came out from the swimming pool. I could also hear laughter, because they got tickled by the towels that dried them. There was also sunlight. 

我看着公寓窗外那空荡荡的街道，人们曾在这里走过与嬉戏。我曾经能够听到像我一样孩子们的声音，嬉戏，奔跑，还有从游泳池出来的湿漉漉的双脚。我还听到了在毛巾擦干时被弄痒时的笑声，还有那温暖的阳光。

Thousands of people around the world are working tirelessly and putting themselves in danger to help save humanity from this plague. Many of them are doctors, many of them are scientists, people in government. And there are others as well: nurses, volunteers, police officers, all with families of their own. But they know that they have to put themselves in danger, because if they don't, we the children won't get to see the sunny days. 

世界各地成千上万的人们孜孜不倦地工作、自己处于危险之中，帮助人们摆脱这一灾难。他们中许多是医生、科学家，政府官员；还有护士，志愿者，警察，以及自己的家人。但是他们知道必须把自己置于危险之中，因为如果不这样做，我们的孩子将无法看到晴天。

So what are our jobs as children? 

那么，我们作为青少年，可以做些什么呢？

First, I believe we should stay safe. We should wash our hands 20 seconds. Sing the ABC song, if you like! I like to sing “Try everything” from the movie Zootopia. Use Hand sanitizer, sleep early, eat healthy food.This way, your body's resistance is strong. And wear masks if you go outside. This way, we can survive. And the longer we survive, the more knowledge we will learn. 

首先，我们应该保持安全。洗手20秒钟、唱ABC歌曲（我喜欢唱电影《疯狂动物城》中的“尝试一切”）。用香皂洗手、早睡早起、吃健康的食物，这样，身体的抵抗力才能增强。别忘了出门时要戴口罩。这样，我们才能够活下去。我们生活的时间越长，我们将学到的知识越多。

Right now, we have a lot of time at home. Let's use this time to learn as much as we can about the world and about our subjects in school. Because one day, it's going to be our turn. We are going to be the same experts out in the fields, figuring out to cure for the next novel virus. We're going to be those nurses, taking care of those people who have been infected, giving them hope, letting them know that they're going to be okay. “You're going to get better. ”

现在，我们有很多时间在家。让我们利用这段时间来学习尽可能多的关于世界和各个学科的知识。因为总有一天，会轮到我们长大。我们将成为某一领域的一位专家，为解决冠状病毒贡献自己的力量。我们将成为护士，照顾那些被感染的人，给他们希望，让他们知道会好起来，鼓励他们“你会好起来的。”

Lastly, we're going to be those volunteers who say, “I'm doing this for the next generation.”

最后，我们将成为志愿者，并说出：“我正在做的都是为了下一代。”

To all my fellow children in the world, no matter where you are, no matter what country you're from, no matter what you see outside your window. Remember, when you look up, we see the same sky. 

全世界的小伙伴们，无论你身在何处，无论来自哪个国家，无论在窗外看到的是什么，请记住，当你抬头时，我们看到的是同一片天空。
