除此之外，其实英语中还有插入语（Parenthesis）以及呼语（Vocative），我们就不作为重点讲了，这里给大家举两个栗子。

句子种类
按说话目的分：（4种）
陈述句（Statement）
陈述一个事实，或是表明一个看法等。
Beijing is the capital of China. 北京是中国的首都。（事实）
She may be right. （看法）
问句（Question）
提出问题。
Where are you from? 你是哪个地方的人？
祈使句（Imperative）
提出命令、请求等。
Don't be late again. 再不要迟到了。（命令）
Take a seat, please. 请坐。（请求）
感叹句（Exclamation）
表示赞美、惊异等情绪。
What a nice view from this window! 这窗子外面景色多美！
How silly you are! 你真傻！
按结构分：（3种）
简单句（Simple Sentence）
句子成分都由单词或短语担任，且只有一个主谓结构。
We love our great motherland. 我们热爱我们的祖国。
并列句（Compound Sentence）
句子成分都由单词或短语担任，但有两个或更多互不依从的主谓结构。
Don't swear, for I dislike swearing. 别骂人，因为我讨厌骂人。
复合句（Complex Sentence）
有一个或更多成分由从句担任。
Do you see what I mean? 你明白我的意思吗？（宾语由从句担任）
Come again when you're free. 有空再来。（状语由从句担任）
