没有心念，则没有世界

Apart from thought, there is no independent entity called “world”.

一离心念，再没有一个叫做“世界”的独立实体存在。

In deep sleep, there are no thoughts and there is no world. In waking and dreaming, there are thoughts, and there is a world, also.

在深度睡眠中，没有心念，也没有世界﹔在清醒与梦境中，既有心念，也有世界。

Just as the spider emits the thread (of the web) out of itself and then withdraws it, likewise, the mind projects the world out of itself and then withdraws it back into itself.

正如蜘蛛吐出丝网，然后又把它收回﹔心智从自身投射出世界，然后又把它收回于自身。
