《清明》
唐代 杜牧
清明时节雨纷纷，
路上行人欲断魂。
借问酒家何处有，
牧童遥指杏花村。
Tomb-Sweeping Day
It drizzles endless during the rainy season in spring,
Travelers along the road look gloomy and miserable。
When I ask a shepherd boy where I can find a tavern,
He points at a distant hamlet nestling amidst apricot blossoms.

赏析：
清明最初只是一个节气，在历法节日中并没有如今这么重要的地位。据载，它成为祭祖的节日是依附于寒食节，后来又融合了上巳节的传统，终于在宋元时期形成一个以祭祖扫墓为中心，将寒食风俗与上巳踏青等活动相融合的传统节日。
每当此时，一些漂泊异乡的人总会有一些思乡之情，杜牧书写此诗的心境就要从这个角度来理解。清明时节，诗人不能和家人相聚，反而行走在阴雨连绵的路途中，更显出自己的凄清孤单，以致情绪低落，格外伤怀。
《寒食野望吟》
唐代 白居易
乌啼鹊噪昏乔木，清明寒食谁家哭。
风吹旷野纸钱飞，古墓垒垒春草绿。
棠梨花映白杨树，尽是死生别离处。
冥冥重泉哭不闻，萧萧暮雨人归去。
The crow cried ,the magpie had maia and the trees were dusky
where came from the cry on this tomb-sweeping day
the wind blew through the wild fields and the paper money flied,
the old tombs lied one by one and the spring grass were sprout
the flowers of the apple and the pear bloosm, against the white poplar
all were the places for part by death,the cries under the graves never can be

赏析：
寒食清明扫墓之风在唐代十分盛行，这首《寒食野望吟》就描写了扫墓时凄冷悲戚的情景。
旷野苍茫，凄风劲吹，古墓垒垒，纸钱纷飞，道不尽死别生离。黄土之上，人伏地哭泣，却传不进逝去亲人的耳中；九泉之下无回应，只得心怀悲苦地在雨幕中离去。
《破阵子·燕子来时新社》
北宋 晏殊
燕子来时新社，梨花落后清明。池上碧苔三四点，叶底黄鹂一两声，日长飞絮轻。 巧笑东邻女伴，采桑径里逢迎。疑怪昨宵春梦好，元是今朝斗草赢，笑从双脸生。
Breaking Open the Ranks
The swallows return on New Communal Day,
Clear and Bright follows, after pear blossoms fade.
Two, three patches of emerald moss on the pond.
From the orioles in the foliage, snatches of song.
The day is long, and willow catkins float along.
A pretty smile the two girls have, our neighbors to the east.
They met on the paths among the mulberry trees.
No wonder last night I had good dreams, one said,
They augured the luck I had in the grass–cut-grass game;
A smile spreading on their faces.

赏析：
这首《破阵子》与前两首诗的基调全然不同，清新欢快，一扫晦暗压抑。
燕子飞来，正值社日（祭祀土地神的日子），梨花飘落，清明来到。碧苔清池，黄鹂高歌，柳絮飘飞，偶遇东邻少女，笑意盈盈，这时节真是好啊！
《临安春雨初霁》
南宋 陆游
世味年来薄似沙，谁令骑马客金华。
小楼一夜听春雨，深巷明朝卖杏花。
矮纸斜行闲作草，晴窗细乳戏分茶。
素衣莫起风尘叹，犹及清明可到家。
Clear Up after Spring Rain at Lin'an
Over the years world affairs seem thin as a veil,
Why should I ride off as a stranger in the capital?
In my attic all night I hear the rustle of spring rain,
At dawn apricot blooms are sold deep in the lane.
I dash off a few slanting lines on a slip of paper,
Sipping up cups of fine tea by my sunny windowpane.
Why bother to sigh for my clean coat to be smeared?
It's not late to be home for Clear and Bright Festival.

赏析：
陆游时年62岁写下这首诗，在此之前已经赋闲多年，少年意气和鲜衣怒马都随着岁月远去，剩下的只有无奈惆怅了。
南宋偏安一隅，陆游厌倦官场，却客居京中。百无聊赖之际只能夜晚听雨，晨起听叫卖声，写写字煮煮茶，清明前还能到得了家吗？他觉得可以。

For the long years the living of the dead knows nought,

赏析：
悼亡诗很早就有，可追溯至《诗经》，西晋的潘岳、中唐的元稹、晚唐的李商隐、清代的纳兰性德，以及苏轼等人，都曾写出极为出名的悼亡诗作。
这首《江城子》称得上知名度最高的一首，情深义重，悲切感人。这首词记载了他正月二十日做的梦，忆及亡妻王弗，醒来思绪万千，用诗词抒发内心的追忆。
梦境与恍惚迷离的文字交织，往昔的恩爱场景浮现眼前，对比一室冷清更让诗人心痛。苏轼十九岁时与王弗结婚，两人恩爱情深，可惜不能白首，王弗二十七岁就去世了，让苏轼哀伤不已，续娶的继室王润之是王弗的堂妹，据说肖似堂姐。
梦里正梳妆，醒来却发现孤身单影，“千里孤坟，无处话凄凉”，哀婉缠绵，悲至绝处。
《蝶恋花·辛苦最怜天上月》
清代 纳兰性德
辛苦最怜天上月，一夕如环，夕夕都成玦。
若似月轮终皎洁，不辞冰雪为卿热。Piteous the Moon
(To the Tune of Dielianhua)
So piteous the moon seems:
a full circle keeps waning,
waning into half a circle, and then
all over again, night after night.
If only you could recover likewise,
from the half to the full,
your body, cold as ice, as snow,

The swallows twitter lovingly, as before,
on the soft valance hooks.

这也是一首悼亡词，妻子离去，美好的事情转瞬即逝，正如月有阴晴圆缺，此事古难全。
梁上燕子呢喃，而伊人已经远去，只能借助“双栖蝶”来投注自己渴盼爱情永恒的愿望，一生一代一双人，天为谁春？
