1."too...to..."结构的用法
The boy is too short to reach the apple.这个男孩太低了而不能够到苹果。
too...to...结构是中学阶段一个很常用的结构，意为"太……而不能……"，表示否定的含义。但在下面的情况中却表示肯定的含义：
（1）当在该结构中的too或to前加上否定词not或never等时，该结构即为表示肯定含义的结构。cannot/cannever...too...to...为常见的用法，它可以与cannot/cannever...enoughto... 结构进行转化。如：
Youcan’t be toocareful/careful enough to cross the street.过街时怎么小心都不为过。
（2）当too...to...结构中的副词too后接ready, anxious, eager, glad, willing等形容词时，该结构表达的为肯定的含义。如：
She is too willing to marry him.她很愿意嫁给他。
（3）当too...to...结构中的副词too前面有all,but, only, quite等修饰时，该结构表达的也为肯定的含义。如：
Iam only too pleased to help you.我很高兴帮助您。

so...that与such...that都表示"如此……以至于"，但用法不同。
1.so...that...引导结果状语从句的用法有以下几种：
（1）so+adj./adv.+that...

此句型亦可与"such +a/an+adj.+可数名词单数+that..."句型互换。如：
This was so good a book that I read it twice. = This was sucha good book that I read it twice.

(1) such +a/an+adj.+可数名词单数+that...。如：
He is such an honest student that we all believehim.
(2)such+adj.+可数名词复数+that...。如：
He has such big feet that no shoes in the shop fithim.
(3)such+adj.+不可数名词+that...。如：
This was such fine music that it was worth listening totwice.
3. ...enough to...结构
He is old enough to go to school .他的年龄足够大，可以去上学了。
enough在英语中既可以用作形容词，又可以用作副词。
（1）当enough用作形容词时，它既可以修饰可数名词，又可以修饰不可数名词；它既可以放在名词前，又可以放在名词后。如：
There was food enough/enough food to last a wholeyear.
有充足的食物，足够吃一整年的了。
（2）当enough用作副词时，它要位于形容词或副词之后。如：
IfI had a long enough holiday, I’d visitEurope, stopping at all the small interesting places.
要是我有足够长的假期的话，我会游览欧洲，在每一处有趣的小地方都停下来看看。
