纳税标志（Duty Mark）

是英国银器上出现的第五个标志。英国格鲁吉亚（ Georgian）和维多利亚（Victorian）时代，银器上都带有一个象征主权的国王头像标志，这就是英国银器纳税标志。英国金匠公司（The Goldsmiths Company）检测办公室（assay office)在1784年至1890年对送检的银器征收消费税，对完税的器皿打上戳记国王头像，以此表明此件商品可以进行销售。苏格兰第一大城市格拉斯哥(Glasgow)，在1797起开始征收消费税（金银表壳免征）直到1819年退出，1797_1819年之间格拉斯哥(Glasgow)的金银器皿上都有出现国王头像标志（DUTY MARK）。爱尔兰的都柏林 （Dublin）1730年至1806年在使用了一种特殊的税务标记海伯尼亚（Hibernia）。

The inspection office of The Goldsmiths Company imposed a consumption tax on silverware submitted for inspection from 1784 to 1890, stamping the king's head on the tax-paid utensils to indicate that the product could be sold. Glasgow, Scotland ’s largest city, began to levy a consumption tax (exemption of gold and silver cases) from 1797 until its withdrawal in 1819. Glasgow ’s gold and silver utensils had a DUTY MARK logo between 1797 and 1819. . A special tax mark, Hibernia, was used in Dublin, Ireland from 1730 to 1806.
