Mother’ s Day

Mother’s Day is on the second Sunday in May. On this day, people in many countries try to do something special to show their love for their mothers.

Many American children surprise their mothers with breakfasts in bed. They also do all the housework for their mothers. Some children give their mothers cards, gifts or flowers on this day. They also take mom out to her favourite restaurant for dinner. Many people also wear red or white carnations, a kind of flower, to show their love for mothers. Mother’s day is a good to say :”Mom, I love you!”
