如何使用滴鼻油? How to Do Nasya?

The nose is the direct route to the brain and also the doorway to consciousness. It is the entrance for prana, the life force, which comes into the body through the breath. Healthy uncongested breathing isimportant to ensure proper flow of prana throughout the head and body. When anexcess of bodily fluids accumulates in the sinus, throat, nose or head areas, it is best eliminated through the nose. 

鼻子是通往大脑的直接通道,也是通往意识的门户。生命能量Prana是通过呼吸进入人体,因此鼻子也是生命能量的入口。健康通畅的呼吸对于保证生命能量在头及全身的正常流动至关重要。当有过多的体液积在鼻窦、喉咙、鼻子或头部时,最好是通过鼻子来清除。使用含有草药精粹油——滴鼻油Nasya,会有助于这个净化过程。

Administration of herbally infused oil, ornasya, helps facilitate this cleansing process. Nasya Oil soothes and protects the nasal passages and helps relieve sinus congestion. Daily nasal lubrication helps to release tension in the head and relieve accumulated stress. Balancing for vata, pitta, and kapha, Nasya Oil is also traditionally said to improvequality of voice, strengthen vision and promote mental clarity.

滴鼻油可以安抚并保护鼻腔,帮助消除鼻窦堵塞。每日滋润鼻腔有助于舒缓头部紧张,释放累积的压力。滴鼻油除了平衡三种导性瓦塔(Vata)、皮塔(Pitta)和卡法(Kapha)之外,经典中还说它能够提升声音品质、强化视力,并使头脑更加清晰。

滴鼻油自我使用的简单参考流程:

Here is a simple procedure to follow for self-administration of nasya:

1. Begin by comfortably lying down on your back and tilting your head back with your nostrils opening towards the sky. If you are lying on a bed, you may hang your head off the edge of the bed, or place a small pillow beneath your neck for support.

舒适的仰面躺下,头部后仰,使鼻腔面朝向天空的方向。如果躺在床上,你可以将头悬到床缘之外,或者在脖子下面放个小枕头来支撑。

 2. Place 5-10 drops of nasya oil in each nostril. With skill, you can administer the oil, drop by drop, circling the inside perimeter of the nostril, thoroughly coating the nasal membranes.

每个鼻腔滴5~10滴滴鼻油。慢慢掌握技巧之后,你可以在鼻腔内部画着圈一滴一滴地滴,让草药油完全覆盖鼻腔粘膜。

3. Take a big sniff in, then rest for a few minutes allowing the nasya to penetrate.

深深吸一下鼻子,然后休息几分钟,让滴鼻油得以渗透。

如果不方便躺下,可以这样使用:

If lying down is not convenient, you can also apply nasya this way:

1.Place a drop of nasya oil on the little finger and carefully insert it into the nostril.

 滴一滴滴鼻油到小拇指上,再加小拇指小心地伸进鼻腔。

2. Gently massage the inner walls of the nasal passage.

    轻柔地按摩鼻腔内壁。

3. Alternate left and right nostrils until each nostril has received a total of three ap   plications of oil.

左右鼻腔交替来做,直到每个鼻腔都用了3次滴鼻油。

The lubrication and gentle massage helps to all eviatestress and release any tension in the tissues.

滴鼻油的滋润及轻柔的按摩可以帮助减缓压力,释放鼻腔组织中的任何紧张。
