Mitchell Grafton is a full-time ceramic artist creating unique sculptural art pieces in Panama City, Florida.He grew up in Ruston, Louisiana, and began working for Odell Pottery at the age of nineteen while earning an architecture degree from Louisiana Tech University.Bruce Odell was a master potter and Mitchell's mentor for the next seven years.While at Odell Pottery, Mitchell became the lead designer for the production of ceramic lamp bases for Hart and Associates, an interior design and manufacturing company.In 2008, Mitchell started his own art pottery company, Grafton Pottery, where he now creates one-of-a-kind pieces of art that are sold around the world.He was also always experimenting and developing new tools and techniques for painting on canvas using his own paint recipes.In 2021 he started selling these paintings.
