“你手机在震”英文怎么说？可不是your phone is shaking!

在一些重要的场合，比如公司会议，我们会提前把手机调成振动，但手机振动不能用shake，知道为什么吗 ？

你手机在震动 ≠ 

Your phone is shaking.

我们经常使用shake，导致一出现震动立马想到shake。shake是指大幅度的晃动，不能用于手机这种微振动。手机震动我们可以用：

• buzz：形容蜜蜂嗡嗡的声音，由于手机振动的声音像蜜蜂的声音，所以日常生活中也能用来表示手机振动。
  
  
• vibrate：指振动、颤动的意思。
  振动模式：vibrate mode

eg：

The phone had already clicked down, leaving a faint buzz. 

电话已经挂了，只有微弱的嗡嗡声。

Turn your cell phone to vibrate mode or turn it off when the speech begins.

玩手机 ≠ 

play the phone

'踢足球'play football，'弹钢琴'paly the piano，但玩手机不能用play，因为当你说'play the phone'，老外会想你到底是'踢手机'还是'弹手机'？

“玩手机”英语的正确表达：

• spend time on the phone

• play with phone 

• play on the phone

eg：

Nowadays, many young people spend too much time on their phone.

现在，许多年轻人成天在手机上虚度光阴。

手机没电 ≠ 

My phone no electricity.

手机玩久了就会没电，没电时感觉没安全感，而且还焦虑不安，这时不要直接说'My phone no electricity.'，这是中式英语表达。

'手机没电'正确表达有以下几种：

My phone is out of juice.  

我的手机没电了 。

My phone is dead. 

我的手机没电了 。

My phone's battery is about to run out.  

我手机电池耗尽啦。

'手机欠费' ≠ 

My phone has no money.

今天又到了扣月租的日子，当电话卡里的钱不够扣时就会欠费，那么'手机欠费'的英文表达是run out of credit。

eg：

My cellphone ran out of credit.

我手机欠费了。
