The Cave of Darkness

Whoosh! Churn, splash, swoosh! Princess Sapphire swam out of the grand rich Palace and into the dolphin village. Lights and decorations were hung in every little cave.
It was Christmas and Sapphire had promised to explore the village with Emerald. They linked their flippers together and admired the Christmas decorations .The sound of sea fire crackers filled the air. The Christmas tree was always the best. Figures of presents, Santa, reindeers and stockings were hung. The tree trunk was scratched with hearts and stars.
But at the top, of course was the star that glistened like a shooting comet ,and held most dolphins attention.
The two explored further and soon they found a thick, red tape line that read: OUT OF
BOUNDS FOR DOLPHINS UNDER 10! Emerald nudged Sapphire and they both swam
back to the village for they were only five. Sapphire chased after a golden baby fish, like a enormous shark, who was absolutely starving. Sapphire’s mind was completely frozen after she and Emerald saw the tape line .Her parents never told her about it either. She was thinking so hard, she toppled over and Emerald was laughing uncontrollably. Later that night, Sapphire and Emerald got ready for their sleepover in Sapphire’s dusty chamber. They clambered into their identical sleeping bags and
switched off the blazing light.
When Sapphire’s grand clock struck midnight, she leapt out of bed like a frog while Emerald grumbled. Sapphire shook her awake and together they drifted to the boundary line and ducked under. Sapphire wriggled her tail. Her heart pounded. Sapphire’s ocean blue eyes scanned the surrounding. Everything was calm but she felt something looming over her. A sea-monster with eight octopus legs, four red evil eyes and sprinkles on his bold head snarled. Emerald slowly backed away and sped of, leaving poor Sapphire alone. She gulped. Her body froze in terror. Suddenly the sea-monster attacked. His tentacles glued onto her body as she squirmed helplessly. This was just to much for her and she screamed helplessly.
Sapphire woke up one day later. She opened her eyes and found herself lying in Hospital Flipper. The little dolphin was wrapped in strips of bandages. Sapphire snuggled into
her freshly laid seaweed bed and glanced at her parents. Her whole body was still sore after her dangerous adventure.
Emerald explained how a spine chilling shark had slithered into the murky cave and killed the hissing sea-monster in one massive bite. The shark almost killed Sapphire, when
the nurse came rushing in to rescue her.
At dinner, Emerald confessed that she left Sapphire alone in the gloomy cave. Sapphire had tackled her best friend for one hour before, Emerald wriggled out of her grip. A while later, Sapphire forced Emerald to vow about never leaving a friend in need .From that day forward, the dolphins never left
their friends and always helped everyone.
