别人都觉得寻找太麻烦，

all the beautiful belongings

所以没人发现过我的美丽，

That no one else had looked

所以没人到过这里。

quite far enough to find.

因为你帮着我去理解

那生活的不堪

make of the lumber of my life

你没有把我

Not

当做你路上的客栈

a tavern

而是内心深处虔诚的圣殿；

But a temple;

对于我的工作

还有我琐碎的每一天

你不是去责备

Not a reproach

而是为我倾唱。

But a song.

因为你给予我的

远甚于任何山盟海誓

都是为了我好

By being yourself.

也许这才是作为朋友
