Could you give me a lift? I didn’t drive today. 我今天没开车，能搭你的顺风车么？现在流行的Uber和滴滴软件都叫 carpooling app 拼车软件，或者taxi-hailing app 叫车软件.

I’ll take the front seat. 我坐前排. 另一种地道表达方式叫 ride the shotgun  多用在小孩子之间.坐那个位置可以用 ride.  坐后排座椅叫 ride the back seat.

Do you have enough leg room? leg 腿 room 空间 leg room便是放置腿的空间，坐副驾驶的位置一定要回头礼貌的问一下后排的同志：“有地方放腿么，挤不挤？”

Which way is faster? 哪条路快呢？找一条不拥堵的路段 There is no traffic on this road. 这条路不堵车. 不过在高峰点 rush hour 出行. 哪都堵车！There is always a bad traffic. 除非走5环路  “啊~ 啊~ 啊~ 五环！你比四环多一环！”

Get on the freeway. 上高速 也可以说 Take on-ramp. ramp是高速上的匝道. Take the third ring road. 走三环路.

Please take the next exit. 前方200米出辅路. We just missed the exit. 咱们错过了出口了!We’ll have to take a detour. 咱们得绕一圈了.

Where should I drop you？我在哪把你放下？You could just pull over and drop me off here. 你就靠边停吧，我就在这下了. You could drop me off at the subway station.  你把我放在地铁站就好.

We gotta hit the tank. 我们得加油了. Shit! We just passed a gas station.

Do you mind making a quick stop at the next traffic lights? I need to pick up my laundry. 师傅，下个红绿灯路口能打个站嚒？我取一下洗的衣服.
