一说到“直觉”，你也许马上会想到“intuition”。 intuition 是正式用词，指凭本能的感知
能力。例如：Her intuition was telling her that something was wrong.（她的直觉告诉她
一定出了什么问题。）She had an intuition that her friend Susanwas ill. (她有一种直觉
她的朋友苏珊病了。) 不过，在口语中较少用 intuition，而是说 gut feeling。gut 这个词的
本身意思是“肠子”、“内脏”。可不要把 gut feeling理解成肠子的感觉，gut feeling指
内心深处的感觉，即“直觉”。英文注 释是：A "gut feeling" refers to someone's
intuition. To say you have a gut feeling about something means that you have a
feeling about the outcome of something before it happens.
例如：
I don't know why；it's just a gut feeling I have.

真实的，即使你没有任何证据。（If you have a hunch about something, youare sure
that it is correct or true, even though you do not have any proof.）hunch 有时也可表
示“直觉”。
