                        不能如约面试说明原因

        你去一家公司申请职位，对方给你安排了面试，可是如约你实在去不了，因为你母亲病重住院，需要手术。赶紧给公司项封信说明情况，请求对方能原谅，另行安排面试时间。

 

 

【温馨小贴士】

       首段中说明不能如约面试的原因要“过硬”，还要突出“孝道”，这样容易被对方接受。中段请求再给次面试机会，要强调自己是公司有用人才，申请职位对自己重要，这样容易让对方考虑你的请求，同意另行安排。

 

【范文】

          Dear Mr. Zhao,

                  I am sorry to tell you that I will not be able to attend the interview you had scheduled with me. Unfortunately, my mother is seriously ill and now is in hospital. The doctor says that he will perform an operation for her next Monday, which coincides with the date of our interview. Since I am the only child of my mother, I cannot leave her alone in the hospital at such a crucial moment. 

 

                I apologize for any inconvenience this causes you. I am writing this letter to request you to give me the opportunity of another appointment. I believe that I would be a useful talent to your company, and your position is exceptionally valuable to me.

 

               Thank you for your time and consideration. I am looking forward to hear from you.
