春夜森凉春雨细， Fine rain in chilly spring night,
清轻润物遵时几。 It was moistening gently in time just.
绿玉幔畦茵锦丽。 The green mantled seedling pool.
晨未启， Early before dawn still,
摸黑就把禾秧起。 We were pulling seedlings in gloomy light.
用毕早餐忙种莳， We were busy working after breakfast,
抛秧拉线秧苗徙。 Distributing shoots,laying lines so to transplant.
踏水弯腰插次第。 Stepped in water and bent inserting one by one.
泥地里， Laboring in the muddy terrain,
想要直立真不易。 It was hard to straighten up again.
