印度周四报告了 30,470 例新增病例，24 小时内死亡 431 例。该国的总病例数已激增至 3,33,47,325。活跃病例数下降了 8,164 例，仅占新冠病例总数的 1.03%。目前，印度有 3,42,923 例活跃病例，死亡人数已上升至 4,43,928 人。
过去一天，已有38,303人从疾病中康复。从新冠康复的患者总数为 3,25,60,474。
该国每日新冠病例数的改善是因为喀拉拉邦的病例减少了。这个最南端的邦在 8 月每天报告超过 30,000 例病例，周三记录了 17,681 例新病例。喀拉拉邦一天内报告了 208 人死亡，是印度所有邦中最高的。

NEW DELHI: Capital markets regulator Sebi chairman Ajay Tyagi on Thursday said the T+1 (trade plus one day) settlement cycle is in the interest of all market participants and the new system will not lead to fragmentation of liquidity.
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi), earlier this month, allowed exchanges to move to the T+1 settlement cycle on an optional basis.
As of now, Sebi has introduced this mechanism on an optional basis, so exchanges will decide whether to implement the T+1 settlement or continue with the T+2 old mechanism. The new mechanism will come into force on January 1, 2022. TOI

Scientists already knew Ebola could lie dormant in survivors, who test negative because the virus is in tissue rather than circulating in the blood.
But analysis of an outbreak this year in Guinea, published Wednesday in the journal Nature, found these "virus reservoirs" appear able to awaken and cause new infections and transmission years on. TOI
